Pregnant woman with pain in the middle of spine

Pain in the middle of a woman's spine is related to fatigue and muscle strain caused by doing manual labor with the head bent over, or standing or squatting for a long time in recent period. During these movements, it is easy to cause muscle strain in the tendons of the muscles behind the spine. In the case of windy and cold weather, the pain may be more obvious. Rest in bed more often, relax the muscles and tendons around the intervertebral disc, apply blood-activating and analgesic ointment on the painful area, do more hot compresses and acupuncture therapy, and the symptoms will gradually improve, then there should be no big problem.

Regarding pain in the middle of the female spine, we must first point out that there are many clinical causes of pain in the middle of the female spine. The more common ones are caused by the following conditions: for example, tendon inflammation, degenerative bone hyperplasia of the spine, herniation of the lumbar disc, dislocation of the spine, local infection, tuberculosis, tumors and ankylosing spondylitis, and fractures caused by local trauma. All of these can cause pain in the middle of the spine. The actual cause still needs to be confirmed by some auxiliary tests.

For example, a normal X-ray can determine the severity of bone hyperplasia and whether there is fracture, osteoporosis or dislocation; a CT scan can determine whether there is a tumor, lumbar disc disease, and spinal stenosis; an MRI can determine the severity of spinal nerve stress.

Pain in the middle of a woman's spine is mostly due to muscle strain of the muscles and tendons around the spine caused by long-term poor posture and desk work. Pay attention to correcting bad postures, doing more neck and shoulder exercises, especially straightening the waist, which can relieve local muscle spasms. Middle-aged and elderly female patients should also consider whether the pain is caused by lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, etc., most of which are accompanied by radiating pain in the lower limbs. In rare cases, recurrent pain may be caused by ankylosing spondylitis, spinal tuberculosis, etc.
