Let you know how to take care of your stomach

Constipation, bad breath, abnormal tongue coating, abdominal pain and diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, stomach cold, belching, hiccups, heartburn, acid reflux, bloating, stomach pain and other symptoms are all caused by gastrointestinal discomfort. With the increase in people's life pressure and changes in dietary structure in recent years, the prevalence of gastrointestinal diseases has been increasing day by day, and the patient population is gradually becoming younger. Gastrointestinal diseases often have a long incubation period and will occur from time to time, which will have a great impact on the patient's mental state, mood, and appetite, resulting in a deterioration in the patient's quality of life. If not treated in time, long-term gastrointestinal discomfort will cause gastric mucosal ulcers, gastric mucosal erosion, intestinal metaplasia and even malignant changes. Among many types of malignant tumors, the survival rate of gastrointestinal tumors is only 25.9%, and the quality of life is extremely poor. In order to prevent the deterioration of the disease, daily gastrointestinal care is essential.

1. What are the common triggers of gastrointestinal diseases?

Fast pace of life, short meal time, and high-fat, high-salt, and high-sugar diets are the main causes of gastrointestinal diseases. Harmful bacteria invade the human stomach and intestines, disrupting the acid-base balance of the stomach and intestines, leading to the occurrence of gastrointestinal diseases.

2.What are the common symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases?

There are many types of symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases, including abdominal discomfort, abdominal fullness, nausea and vomiting, etc. In severe cases, there are also clinical manifestations such as acid reflux, vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal rumbling, fever, etc. Common clinical manifestations such as diarrhea, indigestion, and constipation are all caused by gastrointestinal lesions.

3.What are the common types of gastrointestinal diseases?

Gastrointestinal diseases include stomach diseases and intestinal diseases, and there are many types of diseases. Common stomach diseases include chronic gastritis, gastric perforation, gastric bleeding, gastric ulcer, etc. Common intestinal diseases include duodenal ulcer, colitis, chronic enteritis, etc. These diseases are all caused by gastrointestinal lesions.

4. Why is daily gastrointestinal care so important?

If you ignore your health, overeat, smoke and drink excessively, and have gastrointestinal problems, when you use medication to treat the disease, the drugs will not only kill harmful bacteria, but also kill beneficial bacteria. Long-term medication will lead to poor gastrointestinal immune function, which can easily cause repeated attacks of the disease, induce chronic diseases such as enteritis and chronic gastritis, and cause acute gastrointestinal diseases.

5.How to take good care of your stomach and intestines on a daily basis?

In recent years, with the gradual improvement of medical standards, it has been discovered that the stomach and intestines not only have digestion and absorption functions, but also immune functions. A healthy gastrointestinal mucosa is intact and has a good barrier function. It can resist the invasion of bacteria, absorb and utilize various nutrients, and ensure the body's nutritional intake.

(1) Emotional adjustment

A good mood will prompt the body to secrete a substance that is happy, which can promote the body's immunity and help the condition recover. People with gastrointestinal discomfort should learn how to regulate their emotions, so that they can always maintain a positive and healthy attitude towards life, think more open-mindedly, don't get stuck in a dead end, find the right way to vent their emotions, slow down their emotions, and actively cooperate with doctors, which will help improve their gastrointestinal function and prevent the occurrence of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high blood lipids and other diseases.

(2) Ensure high-quality sleep

The modern life pace is generally fast, the life pressure is high, and the spare time is also rich, which leads to people's insufficient sleep. After a busy day's work, you should relax your body and mind appropriately, develop a healthy work and rest time, go to bed early and get up early, soak your feet before bed, drink a cup of hot milk or honey water, etc. to promote sleep. Avoid watching stimulating videos or books before going to bed to reduce the excitement of brain nerves.

(3) Adjusting dietary structure

In modern society, people's living standards have significantly improved. Fish and meat are basically available at every meal. People tend to choose the food they want to eat and develop picky eating habits. Eating only what they like will lead to a monotonous diet structure, which is very likely to induce gastrointestinal diseases. Therefore, in daily life, we should eat a reasonable diet, eat less high-fat, high-salt, and high-sugar foods, eat more coarse grains, drink more water, and eat more fruits and vegetables.

(4) Ensuring food hygiene

Choose a clean environment for dining and disinfect the tableware every day. Eat food made from fresh ingredients and cook by yourself as much as possible. Reduce the frequency and amount of fast food intake. Pay attention to the shelf life of food. The refrigerator cannot be regarded as a "safe" for food. Bacteria and other microorganisms can also parasitize in the refrigerator. Opened food should be eaten as soon as possible. Cook as much as you can eat at each meal and reduce the intake of leftovers and overnight dishes. Spoiled cakes, fish, shrimp, soy products, eggs, milk, meat and other foods are the main causes of gastroenteritis and should be paid special attention to.

To sum up, reasonable, scientific and effective gastrointestinal care can effectively promote the healthy recovery of people's gastrointestinal tract and improve the overall quality of life.
