Can you find early cancer by "looking in the mirror"? Regarding cancers caused by eating, drinking, defecating and urinating, these people really need to pay attention!

The five major things in life are eating, drinking, defecating, urinating and sleeping.

Four of them are inseparable from our digestive tract

Cancer of the digestive tract

Almost half of all cancers

Once discovered, it is in the middle and late stages

But there is a way!

Finding clues of early digestive tract cancer

Early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment

Let’s first look at what the digestive tract is. The digestive tract is a continuous tube from the mouth to the anus, including the mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine.

Early gastrointestinal cancer refers to gastrointestinal tumors whose infiltration depth does not exceed the submucosal layer or is only confined to the mucosal layer, that is, lesions only on the surface of the mucosa.

Early digestive tract cancer includes early esophageal cancer, early gastric cancer and early colorectal cancer . Every year, there are more than 1 million new cases of gastric cancer, esophageal cancer and colon cancer in China, accounting for about 40% of the total number of new cases worldwide.

There are often no typical symptoms in the early stages of the disease. By the time symptoms appear, most digestive tract cancers have already entered the middle or late stages .

High-risk groups for esophageal cancer:

Aged 40 or above;

· Those who come from areas with a high incidence of esophageal cancer, such as the southern side of the Taihang Mountains at the junction of Hebei, Henan, and Shanxi provinces, especially Ci County. There are also relatively concentrated high-incidence areas in Qinling Mountains, Dabie Mountains, northern Sichuan, Minyue, northern Jiangsu, and Xinjiang.

There is a family history of esophageal cancer, with parents or siblings having esophageal cancer;

· The presence of high-risk factors for esophageal cancer in life, such as smoking, heavy drinking, head and neck or respiratory tract squamous cell carcinoma, preference for eating hot and pickled food, poor oral hygiene, etc.

People at high risk of gastric cancer:

Aged 40 or above;

People infected with Helicobacter pylori;

· Family history of gastric cancer, parents or siblings have had gastric cancer;

Patients who have been diagnosed with atrophic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia.

People at high risk of colorectal cancer:

· I have a history of cancer (any history of malignant tumor);

· History of radiotherapy for abdominal and pelvic tumors;

· Family history of colorectal cancer, parents or siblings have had colorectal cancer;

· I have a history of colorectal adenoma (polyp);

· Those who have had inflammatory bowel disease for more than 8 years and have changed bowel habits;

· Those who meet any 2 or more of the following conditions:

Chronic diarrhea, chronic constipation, mucus and blood in stool, chronic appendicitis or history of appendectomy, chronic biliary disease or history of cholecystectomy, long-term mental depression, etc.

Most early digestive tract cancers can be cured through minimally invasive treatments.

However, because early gastrointestinal cancer has no obvious clinical symptoms, it is easily ignored by patients, thus missing the best time for treatment and causing the disease to worsen.

Therefore, it is very important to find the clues of early digestive tract cancer as early as possible. Gastroenteroscopy is such a magic weapon. Gastroenteroscopy has a good effect on the discovery, diagnosis and treatment of early digestive tract cancer. It is one of the most direct and effective digestive tract early cancer screening technologies.

Some friends are afraid when they hear about gastroenteroscopy. Don’t worry, the painless gastroenteroscopy technology is widely used now. It can complete the examination between your eyes. You will not experience obvious physical discomfort, nor will you have painful memories of the diagnostic process.

It is said that the first words of many friends who have just finished a gastroenteroscopy are: "Huh? It's over?"

It is recommended that the high-risk groups mentioned above undergo gastrointestinal endoscopy as early as possible or regularly.

1. Pay attention to your eating habits, do not eat hot or irritating food, maintain oral hygiene, eat on time, and do not skip one meal and eat the next.

2. Eat a balanced diet, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, eat less pickled, fried, grilled, moldy, spoiled, and fast food junk, and stay away from food contaminated by carcinogens.

3. Quit smoking and drinking, increase exercise, and maintain a healthy weight;

4. Have regular physical examinations and screenings, and actively treat precancerous lesions.

Prevention and treatment of early digestive tract cancer starts with screening

Stay away from carcinogenic factors and start with small habits

Eat, drink, defecate, urinate and sleep, the body does not suffer
