Small ears, big energy

Our ears are composed of three parts: the outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear. In traditional Chinese medicine, the shape of the auricle is like an inverted fetus** (as shown in Figure 1)**. The ear is actually a microcosm of the human body as a whole. Every part of the body has a corresponding projection area on the ear. As the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine says, "The ear is where the ancestral meridians gather." The ear is connected to the meridians of the whole body. Regular ear massage can prevent and treat diseases, strengthen the body, and "win" health!

The operation method of ear massage is simple, and even a novice can easily get started. It is not limited by time and place. Whether it is when you get up in the morning, on the bus or subway when commuting, or during a tea break, you can massage your ears anytime and anywhere to refresh your mind and keep your body healthy. 1. Rub your palms together to warm them up and cover the auricles : Rub your palms together to generate heat, then cover the auricles on both sides with the palms that have been rubbed together to warm them up, and repeat this process 9 times. This can warm up the ear meridians, regulate the meridians, and have a health-care and conditioning effect on the whole body.

2. Up and down massage method : Use your thumb and index finger to rub the outer contour of the ear up and down 20 times. This can prevent and treat neck, shoulder, waist, leg pain, headache, dizziness, etc.

3. Full ear massage: Rub the front and back of the ears with the palm of your hand 20 times. It can dredge the meridians, invigorate the internal organs, and strengthen the body .

4. Pull up the tip of the ear: Use the thumb and index finger to pull up the tip of the ear 20 times. It has the effects of calming, relieving pain, anti-allergic, reducing fever, clearing the brain, and lowering blood pressure .

5. Pulling the earlobe: Pinch the earlobe with your thumb and index finger, pull and rub it downward and outward 20 times. It can prevent and treat dizziness, astigmatism, myopia, tinnitus, acne, chloasma and other symptoms. It is an important beauty method.

6. Pat the earlobes: Use four fingers other than the thumb to gently pat the earlobes. It can be used to prevent and treat neurasthenia, insomnia, depression, anxiety, hysteria , etc.

7. The Sky-Drumming Method: Cover your ears with the palms of your hands, hold your fingers at the back of your head, and use the four fingers other than the thumb to forcefully tap the back of your head 40-60 times. This can be used to prevent and treat vertigo, tinnitus, deafness, inner ear diseases, etc.

8. Massage the external auditory canal : insert the index fingers of both hands into the external auditory canal, gently rotate back and forth 9 times, and then remove the fingers after a while. It can prevent aging and improve hearing and eyesight.

Here are some things to keep in mind when doing ear massage:

1. If there is ear trauma, bleeding, severe frostbite or ulcer, it is not advisable to massage the ear on the affected area;

2. Pregnant women and women during menstruation should use with caution;

3. The ear massage time should not be too long, the force should not be too strong, and the fingernails need to be trimmed flat and short, otherwise it is easy to cause local skin damage;

4. Children's skin is delicate and needs to be handled with care. Adults can practice on their own ears first, and after mastering the appropriate strength, they can massage children;

5. When you first start massaging, you don’t have to stick to the number of times you do it. It’s best to massage until your ears feel slightly warm.

6. If you feel any discomfort during operation, please stop immediately.
