To prevent breast cancer, stop doing these things!

In 2018, there were 2.09 million new cases of female breast cancer worldwide, accounting for about 24% of new cancer cases in women. Among them, postmenopausal breast cancer occurred more frequently, with 1.444 million cases, and premenopausal breast cancer occurred about 645,000 cases.

We all know that in order to improve the survival rate of cancer, the first prerequisite is early detection.

As for breast cancer, according to the recommendations in the "Guidelines and Standards for Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (2013 Edition)": Breast screening can reduce the breast cancer mortality rate in women over 40 years old.

However, it is not recommended for non-high-risk groups aged 20-39 years old.

Why is breast screening not recommended for young women?

According to epidemiological data from the United States: in 2008, the number of breast cancer cases in women under 35 years old accounted for only 1.8%.

The incidence of breast cancer in young women is not high, and the breast tissue of women at this stage is relatively dense. X-rays have poor penetration into this part of the tissue, making it difficult to ensure the scientific nature of the diagnosis.

There is a fear of getting false positives when testing young women for breast cancer.

Prevention is more important than treatment

To prevent breast cancer, stop doing these things.

1. Unhealthy eating habits

Some women cannot resist the temptation of delicious food and always like to eat high-calorie and high-fat food. However, they do not know that doing so will not only increase the risk of obesity, but also affect the endocrine system, leading to hormone disorders, and thus become a breakthrough for breast cancer.

2. Abuse of health supplements

Someone once conducted an online consumption survey and found that more and more young women are blindly buying health care products in order to maintain their beautiful looks and figures.

However, studies have found that some health products contain large amounts of estrogen, which can easily cause endocrine disorders, thereby stimulating breast cells and increasing the risk of cancer.

3. Irregular work and rest schedule

Since the human body's own activities will affect the daily secretion pattern of hormones, a stable and regular schedule can better promote the stability of the human body's endocrine rhythm and reduce hormone fluctuations.

Staying up late not only damages immunity, but also increases the secretion of estrogen, which can easily increase the risk of breast cancer.
