Is joint pain rheumatism?

Is joint pain rheumatism?

☑ There are several causes of joint pain: soft tissue, cartilage, bone and inflammation. Joint pain in the elderly is mostly due to bone hyperplasia and bone spurs in the joints rubbing against the surrounding tissues.

☑ Middle-aged and elderly women may suffer from multiple joint pains, which is most likely caused by osteoporosis. Rheumatic and rheumatoid arthritis are more common in women aged 20-45, and the pain is not fixed.

☑ Go to the hospital immediately if joint pain occurs.

☒Living in a humid place does not necessarily mean you are more likely to suffer from rheumatic joint pain.
