In January 2023, there were 13 new mobile phone models launched in China, a year-on-year decrease of 56.7%. Among them, there were 7 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 53.3%, accounting for 53.8% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

III. Development of domestic smartphones

In January 2023, smartphone shipments reached 18.291 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 43.6%, accounting for 96.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In January 2023, 12 new smartphone models were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 57.1%, accounting for 92.3% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
