TNW: Mobile messaging app Line downloads exceed 150 million

Line's profit model is also very special, mainly through the sale of virtual items. In addition, social games are also a major source of revenue. Line announced last month that the number of downloads of the game platform application exceeded 100 million times.

Line is a mobile messaging app that can be linked to a mobile phone address book and supports text, pictures, voice, video, calls, location, emoticons, group chats, etc. NHN Japan announced in February this year that it would spin off Line into an independent company, Line Corp.
