Don’t be afraid of “long nights and many dreams”! Let’s take a look at some knowledge about dreams

Living together with your dream partner, becoming a millionaire, and not getting fat when you eat a lot... I'm sure everyone will wake up with a smile when they have such a beautiful dream. When it comes to dreams, everyone describes them in a variety of ways, including joy, sadness, shock, and fear. Night owls began to ask: I close my eyes and open them again, and a day passes, but I don't necessarily have any dreams.

Hey, you don’t understand this!

The latest research abroad shows that people spend about one-third of their lives dreaming. Some people think they don't dream, but in fact they dream at night, but suddenly they can't remember it the next day. This situation is also quite common.

Humans have a sleep cycle when they fall asleep at night, which is divided into the rapid eye movement stage and the non-rapid eye movement stage. Dreaming basically occurs in the rapid eye movement stage, and most memorable dreams are also formed in this stage.

Based on 8 hours of sleep, the rapid eye movement sleep period at night is about 2 hours, which means that the average time each of us dreams at night is about 2 hours.

Why do some people not remember their dreams, while others remember them vividly? It is actually because we are in different sleep cycles when we wake up. If we wake up during the REM period, we can often describe our dreams vividly.

Therefore, being able to remember dreams is caused by the high level of brain power used in the process of subconscious generation, and has little to do with memory. We should not force ourselves to recall some scenes during sleep.

Freud once said, "Dreams are manifestations of human subconsciousness." So can we understand ourselves through dreams?

This statement makes sense. As the saying goes, "What you think about during the day, you dream about at night." Dreams also reflect a person's desires. If you always have random thoughts during the day, you will even have material for dreams at night. In fact, specific scenes, characters, things and their connections in dreams imply different subconscious needs and the possibility of their combination.

Although sweet dreams make people happy, nightmares can cause sleep disorders. Generally, when people sleep, the nerve cells in the brain are in an inhibited state, but there are still a few areas of nerve cells in the cerebral cortex that are in an excited state, and people will have dreams. At this time, if the nerve cells are also in an excited state, not only will they dream, but they may also talk in their sleep and sleepwalk.

No matter what, people cannot live without dreams! If you lack dreams, it may mean that there are some problems with your body, such as abnormal blood pressure and pulse.

Dreaming not only does not affect people's sleep, but also protects brain health. Normal dreaming is one of the important factors to ensure the normal functioning of the body. If a certain central point in the human brain is damaged, dreams cannot be formed, or only incomplete dreams can be formed. Therefore, people who do not dream for a long time need to pay more attention to their health than those who dream frequently.

Although dreaming is a normal physiological phenomenon, if dreaming occurs so frequently that it affects daily life, intervention is still needed.

First, avoid staying up late, which can easily disrupt your biological clock and cause sleep disorders. Secondly, you can take medications such as oryzanol, Yangxueqingnao pills, and Anshenbunao liquid to regulate your body. Furthermore, you can often do aerobic exercises such as jogging and swimming to make your body feel slightly tired and easier to fall asleep.
