The way doctors celebrate holidays is something that “ordinary people” could never imagine!

Today is Doctors' Day, and it is also a normal day. Perhaps, you come to the hospital early to start work as usual, because these are habits.

Doctors are ordinary people too, they have parents, wives and children of their own, but they spend most of their time in hospitals.

Parents, wives and children leaned against the door and looked out, seeing only an empty road. Doctors devoted most of their efforts to their patients.

The lunch boxes provided by the hospital are slowly getting colder. “Now is not the time to eat,” the patients are waiting.

Doctors are always concerned about their patients' conditions even though they are not blood relatives. Can anyone understand why?

Exhausted after the operation, the doctor lies on the ground to rest; the medical staff take turns in groups, and the surgeon insists on staying at the operating table; can anyone understand what they are insisting on?

Why become a doctor?
Some people may say, if it is so hard, why should we be doctors?
Yes, why do you become a doctor? To cure diseases and save lives? To be respected? To have a stable life? Or to pursue your dreams? Maybe I have been in this profession for too long, and my memories of the past have long been blurred.
Now just remember:

Health is at stake, life is entrusted to you.

As I step into the sacred medical school, I solemnly swear:
I volunteer to devote myself to medicine, love the motherland, be loyal to the people, abide by medical ethics, respect teachers and observe discipline, study hard, work tirelessly, strive for excellence, and develop comprehensively.
I am determined to do my best to eliminate human diseases, help perfect health, maintain the sanctity and honor of medical skills, save the dying and the wounded, endure hardships, pursue persistently, and fight for the development of the motherland's medical and health cause and the physical and mental health of mankind throughout my life.

Just remember:
Keep telling yourself to hold on a little longer. The road you walk in the darkness will lead you to the light. Why be a doctor?

Maybe, you are the "answer" itself!

August 19th is a very ordinary day. Not many people even know that this day is Doctors' Day. But if only one patient says "Happy holidays, doctor" to the doctor, I believe your heart will be warm. ❤
❤ 8·19 ❤China Doctors’ Day, thank you for your dedication and pay tribute to all Chinese doctors!
