1. Is it toxic?

It is non-toxic and has a very high ornamental value. You don't have to worry about any harm to the human body when you grow it at home. It is not only non-toxic, but also can be used for decoration and beautification. When it blooms, not only is the color beautiful, but the flowering period is also very long. It can be grown in potted plants or in flower arrangements.

2. Domestication Methods

1. Soil: When raising it at home, you must choose soil suitable for its growth. It likes loose humus soil with strong drainage. Do not use soil that is too sticky and airless.

2. Temperature: It does not have good cold resistance, so the breeding temperature must not be too low. If conditions permit, the temperature can be kept at 15-20℃. The night temperature should also be properly controlled, preferably around 10-15℃. During the winter, appropriate warming measures should be taken, and the temperature is best controlled at 3-5℃.

3. Lighting: Freesia seedlings need proper shade. When the flower buds differentiate, they need to see the sun appropriately, but they should not be exposed to direct sunlight. When the sun is strong in midsummer and early autumn, a sunshade net should be used to block 70% of the light.
