30-day recipes for normal delivery mothers

When pregnant mothers have given birth and come to the confinement period, they don’t know what to eat; and there are also many mothers who, after learning some knowledge, have some conflicts with the elderly. Today we have sorted out the detailed menus for the first week of confinement. We divide it into three parts according to time.

1. Week 1 (Metabolism and body detoxification)

In the first week after giving birth, the mother's body is relatively weak, so she should not eat overly "tonic" nourishing soups. It is best not to touch wild turtles, beef, etc. Mothers who are in confinement at this moment do not have much appetite. The first week is mainly focused on replenishing Qi and blood, expelling lochia, adjusting the mother's body, and strengthening the spleen and appetite. The taste must be light, the ingredients must be fresh, not greasy, and have flavor.

Breakfast: 100 grams of sesame oil pork liver (two or three bites are enough), millet soup or barley rice

Lunch: Red bean soup, pork liver with sesame oil, fresh seasonal vegetables fried with lean meat (beef, mutton, chicken breast is preferred), barley rice (other whole grain rice is also OK)

Dinner: vegetable soup, whole grain dinner, you can bring a small amount of lean pork. Try not to touch cold fruits in the first four days after the birth of the child.

Taboos: tea, wine, too hot nourishing soup, too much animal oil, raw radish, too cold ingredients, etc.

2. Second Week (Postpartum Recovery)

After the first week of confinement, the new mother’s wounds are basically healed, and she can take some nourishing products to repair her energy and promote basal metabolism. After the first week of fast food therapy, the mother's appetite will get better and better. When drinking porridge, remember to eat meat, the meat is much more than the soup.

Breakfast: Vegetable porridge, Eucommia powder, salad oil, kidney, a large cup of soy milk or milk

Lunch: Fish head soup or bone soup (do not make it too thick, as fresh as possible), whole grain rice, stir-fried fresh seasonal vegetables

Dinner: Chicken soup or bone soup (not too much), red bean soup, whole grains dinner

The purpose of a whole grain meal is to cleanse the intestines and eliminate toxins. There is no need to mix all the grains, just add some grains to the white rice and steam them together. It is okay to eat some fresh fruit after a meal. If you are worried about getting cold, you can soak it in warm water. But now that sex is hot, it is unnecessary. In the second week after giving birth, mothers who have difficulty in producing milk can drink some milk, eat some beans, massage frequently, and give their babies more milk to suck.

3. Third to fourth week (nourishing food supplements)

After the second week, the mother's breastfeeding task and the pressure of body shaping, weight loss and beauty care will increase, and a stronger diet therapy is needed at this time. And at this time, special attention should be paid to detoxification and bowel moisturizing. If the mother's skin and mental state are well taken care of, they will gradually return to pre-natal conditions and become more and more beautiful. But to be honest, it's enough to eat enough and have enough breast milk. Don't eat too much, otherwise it will be difficult to lose weight later.

Breakfast: sesame oil chicken (a small amount is fine), glutinous rice porridge, fresh fruit

Lunch: bone soup, longan and wolfberry tea, fresh seasonal vegetables, main course (noodles or white rice are OK)

Dinner: Barley rice, pig's trotter soup, health tea or red bean soup, with fresh seasonal vegetables

Red bean soup is good for urination, pig's trotter soup is good for beauty and promoting lactation, sesame oil chicken is good for protein, and you can drink some soy milk or milk in the morning, noon and evening to supplement calcium, zinc and promote lactation. In fact, this link is not only about diet therapy, proper exercise is also very important. Don't stay in bed all the time, walk more, go out more to breathe fresh air, and adjust your mood which is also very good.
