Eight months pregnant, hip pain

Eight months pregnant, hip pain

In the late pregnancy, the fetus enters a stage of rapid development, so pregnant mothers need to supplement a variety of nutrients and minerals. So, why does the hip hurt in the late pregnancy? This is because if there is a lack of calcium, vitamins and iron, it can easily cause pregnant mothers to suffer from back pain and hip pain. On the other hand, as the weight of the fetus increases, pregnant mothers may also experience hip pain. So, what is the reason for pain in both hips during eight months of pregnancy?

What is the matter with pain in both hips during the eighth month of pregnancy? Why does hip pain occur in the late pregnancy?

In the later stages of pregnancy, as the fetus continues to grow, there will be some abnormalities in the physical condition of pregnant mothers, which is different from the early and late stages of pregnancy. Pregnant mothers should master relevant professional skills in advance to deal with various situations as soon as possible, and make preparations and perfect coping measures.

1. Back pain

After 8 months of pregnancy, some pregnant women will feel back pain. This is because as the pregnancy progresses, the uterus rises, and as the uterus expands forward, it forces the pregnant mother to raise her body. In order to maintain body balance, pregnant mothers will lean their heads and shoulders back, their abdomen forward, their legs apart, and their upper body backward when they stand up and walk. This causes the muscles in the back and waist to be in a restless state. At this time, the relaxation of the ligaments of the spine and osteoarthritis during pregnancy and the compression of the lumbar and back nerves by the expanded uterus can also cause lower back pain.

2. Pubic pain

In the second half of pregnancy, many pregnant women will feel inexplicable pain in the toes, with a flexion and extension feeling, especially when standing up, walking, going up and down stairs, the pain is more obvious, and sometimes they will feel pain when turning over in their sleep or sitting up. The main reason for this is that during pregnancy, especially in the second half of pregnancy, the size of the fetus gradually increases, the uterus also expands, and the space between the metatarsals will cause relative physiological changes and become larger than when preparing for pregnancy.

3. Sciatica

In the later stages of pregnancy, the weight of the fetus increases, which increases the pressure on the mother's back and squeezes the spinal nerves, causing the mother to feel a noticeable tingling sensation from the waist down to the legs. Ways to relieve the symptoms include: sleeping on your left side, placing a pillow between your kneecaps to increase blood flow to the uterus; and avoiding standing or squatting in the same posture for more than 30 minutes during the day. Swimming can also relieve this type of sciatica.
