"Big Data Query" is a small tool that allows individuals to easily query their own epidemic prevention-related health status. It can be used by all people in Beijing and those entering (returning) to Beijing.

In terms of privacy and security, all data will be desensitized and other means will be used to store only the last name and the two digits before and after the ID number of the personal information generated on the mobile phone, thereby minimizing both data collection and personal privacy.

How to use Beijing Health Code

Open WeChat or Alipay and search for the "Beijing Health Code" applet. When using it for the first time, you only need to enter your name, ID number, and perform facial recognition to check your health status.

It includes three statuses: "centralized observation", "home observation" and "no abnormality", which are marked with red, yellow and green respectively. You can view the specific details on the status result page.

Query instructions: Since disease control data is updated periodically at 24:00 every day, the validity period of your query results is until 24:00 on the same day. During the validity period, your status information is available at any time. After that, you need to scan your face again (but you don’t need to enter your name and ID number again). Another consideration for doing this is to maximize the security of your information.

What is the function of Beijing Health Code?

First, it is convenient. The "Health Code" only verifies the face and ID number, collects less data, and is easy to fill out and use; when logged in, face recognition is only used once a day, and the query results of the day can be obtained at any time, which is very convenient (if you log out, you still need to scan your face to confirm your identity, which is also for your consideration).

Second, safety. On the one hand, all data of the "Health Code" is retained by the Beijing Municipal Government and is only used for epidemic prevention. And when the expiration date is reached, all relevant data will be invalid, so as to achieve automatic information protection and standardized data storage; on the other hand, through information desensitization and other means, the status information generated on your mobile phone will only retain the "surname" and the two digits before and after the ID number, so as to achieve the dual minimization of data collection and personal privacy.

The third is anti-counterfeiting. The "Health Code" uses a combination of online face recognition and offline on-site verification, with both static and dynamic anti-counterfeiting methods to effectively prevent counterfeiting.
