Does endometriosis usually hurt?

Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease in women caused by the implantation of specific endometrial cells outside the uterine wall. The main clinical manifestations of endometriosis are disordered endometrial bleeding and fibrosis of surrounding tissues, resulting in disordered masses. Dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, irregular menstruation and infertility are its clinical symptoms. Endometriosis is usually painless, but it may cause inflammation or menstrual cramps during menstruation.

How to treat endometriosis

Treatment options for endometriosis vary depending on the severity of the disease, the patient's age, and fertility status. If the condition is severe, or the main manifestation is dysmenorrhea, or a pelvic examination finds a definite endometriosis mass, medication or surgery is necessary. Drugs are used to counteract or inhibit the regular endocrine stimulation of the uterus and ovaries. Initially, testosterone-type androgens were used, but due to their severe side effects and insufficient effectiveness, they have gradually been phased out. Later, it gradually developed into a pseudo-pregnancy treatment and a pseudo-menopause treatment.

With the continuous development of my country's medical level, there are many treatments for uterine wall disorders. Sick women should actively go to the hospital for relevant examinations, and professional doctors will formulate effective treatment plans based on the patient's condition. Patients need to maintain a positive attitude and actively cooperate with each other.
