Maternity supplies preparation list

Maternity supplies preparation list

After ten months of pregnancy, the baby is born. Are pregnant mothers filled with great expectations as they are about to give birth? Before giving birth, everyone should prepare various supplies for the baby and the pregnant woman to avoid being at a loss at that time. Everyone should keep the list of necessary items after giving birth as much as possible by themselves. This can make everyone feel more at ease.

List of necessary items after childbirth

1. Valid documents: identity documents of the couple, materials for registration, birth certificate and photocopies.

2. Clothes: two pairs of sports trousers, long-sleeved tops and nightgowns, disposable cotton underwear (partum women have a lot of lochia, so they need to keep their vulva clean and hygienic, so they need to be changed frequently. You can buy a few bags of large disposable underwear and throw them away after use), one coat (can be put on when entering and leaving the hospital);

Postpartum cap, postpartum scarf (choose a loose woolen hat in summer and autumn, and a thicker wool hat in winter. Carry a sun hat or scarf with you when going out to prevent your head from catching a cold), and a set of hospital clothes. Nursing bras (breastfeeding mothers should prepare three or four in advance, which are convenient for frequent replacement. The size should be one or two sizes larger than before pregnancy).

3. Maternal sanitary napkins or maternity pads. Mothers who have a lot of lochia after delivery and are inconvenient to wake up can use them, or you can buy adult diapers. Generally prepare about three or four packs in advance, plus a pack of sanitary napkins.

4. Disposable breast pads: Prevent breast milk from staining clothes. Long-term retention of breast milk in the skin around the breasts can cause eczema and other conditions.

5. Cleansing products: a small towel for cleansing the face, a soft-bristled toothbrush (soft), whitening toothpaste, a water cup, a wooden comb, facial cleanser, body lotion, a washbasin, a large cotton towel for wiping the body, and a small towel for passing water.

6. A manual breast pump is used to suck out unnecessary breast milk and avoid breast engorgement.

7. Other utensils: bowls for meals, straw cups, thermos cups, chopsticks and spoons, snacks, a small amount of money, mobile phones, documents, and cameras.
