The best time to conceive

Children are our hope and future. Everyone wants to have a healthy baby. Seeing the cute children coming and going around you, do you also feel the beauty and wonder of life? So how can we have a healthy baby? When is the best time to get pregnant? Have you chosen the right time for pregnancy?

Best time to get pregnant: Insemination within 24 to 48 hours of ovulation

A new scientific study has concluded that the chances of getting pregnant through sexual intercourse are higher on the day of ovulation and in the five days before, and the "end point" of the chance of getting pregnant is the day of ovulation.

In order to increase the chance of pregnancy and improve the quality of the fetus, both parties should abstain from sex for a period of time before ovulation to replenish their essence and energy. Too little or too much sexual intercourse is not conducive to pregnancy. Too short an interval between sexual intercourse will result in thin semen and small sperm count, which is not conducive to pregnancy. Generally, you should abstain from sex for 3 to 5 days before ovulation to ensure a sufficient number of high-quality sperm for fertilization.

In addition, sexual intercourse should be scheduled as close to the ovulation period as possible. If you have sex too early before ovulation, the male sperm has to wait too long in the female reproductive system. If you have sex too late after ovulation, the egg has to wait too long, resulting in poor quality of fertilization. Both of these conditions affect the quality of sperm-egg combination and are not conducive to eugenics.

How long can an egg survive after it is released?

After male sperm enters the female reproductive system through male ejaculation, its life cycle is 1-3 days. If the sperm cannot meet the egg during this period, it will lose the ability to become pregnant. The total number of male sperm is also a primary condition for women to become pregnant. In normal male semen, the sperm concentration is 20 million to 100 million per ml, and the sperm density makes it easier to get pregnant. Women's reproductive characteristics are regular, and generally only one egg is discharged in each cycle. The complete cycle of the egg cell is only about 14 days. After the egg cell is released, it must be fertilized within 24 to 48 hours in order to become pregnant.

Therefore, insemination within 48 hours after ovulation is the most basic condition for pregnancy. At this time, the egg cell is fresh and healthy, which is a prerequisite for ensuring the health of the test tube embryo. Therefore, pregnant women should know their ovulation period.
