Hyperglycemia during pregnancy generally has no symptoms before pregnancy, and glycolysis function is very normal. The symptoms and clinical signs of diabetes only gradually appear during pregnancy. Some pregnant women also experience complications of diabetes, such as gestational hypertension, tiny babies, etc., but these symptoms will gradually disappear after delivery, and will reappear during the subsequent pregnancy and recover after delivery. Therefore, pregnant women in this situation do not have true diabetes. It is only if they do not pay attention to maintenance that high blood sugar during pregnancy may turn into dominant genetic diabetes many years later.
