The uterus and ovaries are the reproductive organs of female animals. The function of the ovaries is to produce eggs and their steroid hormones. The position of the ovary is the same as that of the male testicles, only the left side is growing (the right side has atrophied), and they are shaped like red grapes. They are all eggs at different stages of development. The eggs are light yellow, and the surface of the ovary is covered with blood vessels. The size of the uterus and ovaries is related to age and egg-laying period. structure The uterus and ovaries are divided into inner and outer sides, upper and lower sides, and anterior and posterior edges. The inner side of the uterus and ovary faces the pelvis, mostly adjacent to the ileum, also known as the intestinal surface, and the outer side touches the outer wall of the pelvis. The upper part of the uterus and ovaries is blunt and round, called the bilateral fallopian tube ends (Tubalex-tremity), which is connected to the bilateral fallopian tube fimbria ends. The lower part is slightly pointed, and the house faces the uterus, which is called the uterine extremity (Uterineextremity). The outer edge of the uterus and ovaries is adhered to the mesovarian mesentery, which is called the mesovarian border. This edge is relatively vertical, with a crack in the center, called the Hilum of the Ovarian Door, where the blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and nerves of the uterus and ovaries enter and exit. The edge of the uterus and ovary is mineral acid, called the free border, which is relatively convex and faces posteriorly and inwardly. The uterus and ovaries are a pair of oval male reproductive organs located on both sides of the uterus. It has a layer of epithelial cell tissue on its surface and a layer of connective tissue just below it. The internal structure of the uterus and ovaries can be divided into cortex and medulla. The cortex is located in the peripheral part of the uterus and ovaries, and is mainly composed of eggs and connective tissue; the medulla is located in the center, composed of loose connective tissue, which contains many blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and nerves. Fixed In addition to being fixed to the broad cruciate ligament of the uterus by the uterine and ovarian mesentery, the uterus and ovaries are also connected to the outer wall of the pelvis and the uterus by the uterine and ovarian suspensory cruciate ligaments and the original cruciate ligaments of the uterus and ovaries. Suspensory cruciate ligament The suspensory ligament of ovary is a retroperitoneal fold, which contains uterine and ovarian arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels, uterine and ovarian nerve plexus, a small amount of smooth muscle fibers and high-density connective tissue. This cruciate ligament starts from the upper opening of the white pelvic bone and the bifurcation of the common iliac vessels, is located just in front of the sacroiliac joint, and goes down to connect to the bilateral fallopian tube ends of the uterus and ovaries. |
