When I have the urge to urinate, I feel pain in my lower abdomen

Women experience lower abdominal pain as soon as they feel the urge to urinate. This is most commonly caused by a urinary tract infection, usually a chronic urinary tract infection. Because female patients have short and relatively thick urethral openings, especially after sexual intercourse, the body's resistance is low, which makes them more susceptible to urethral infections. The common bacteria for female urinary tract infection are Gram-negative streptococci. These bacteria live in the urinary tract for a long time. When the body's resistance is low, inflammation and infection will occur, which will cause painful urination, and will also be accompanied by frequent urination and incomplete urination.

Women feel a heaviness and pain in their lower abdomen when they have to urinate. This is considered acute cystitis, which is caused by bacterial infection that causes widespread hematoma and edema of the bladder mucosa, slight damage to the bladder mucosal epithelial cells, and irritation of the partially damaged mucosa by urine, which can cause a noticeable urge to urinate, as well as a feeling of distension and discomfort in the lower abdomen. More severe patients may have symptoms such as complete gross hematuria, back pain or fever.

It is recommended to have a routine urine examination. If a large number of white blood cells or an increase in leukocyte lipase is found in the urine routine examination, the diagnosis can be made. It is recommended to choose antibiotics for oral or intravenous treatment. You can choose one levofloxacin capsule, 3 times a day, for one week, or one cefixime capsule, 2 times a day, for one week. During the treatment period, you need to drink more water and urinate more often. If the urination frequency and urgency are obvious, you can take one sodium bicarbonate tablet orally, 3 times a day, to reduce the pH value of urine to acidic and relieve the increase of urinary frequency.

As soon as I feel like urinating, I experience lower abdominal pain, which I think is caused by a urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infection is generally due to direct bacterial invasion or reverse infection caused by the urethral opening. Urogenital stones are also prone to urinary tract infections. It can be diagnosed based on B-ultrasound and urine examination. When there is infection, medication is generally chosen for treatment, such as oral levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets and Sanjin tablets. The effect is better when these two drugs are used together, and the infection can usually be eradicated in about a week. For stones, the treatment method should be selected based on the actual location and size. Drinking more water can improve urination and clean the urethra.
