Girl's buttocks bleeding bright red pain

In daily life, blood in the stool is quite common, and most of the causes of bright red blood in the stool are intestinal diseases. But some are painful and some are not easy. What is the reason for bright red blood in the stool but no anal pain?

Blood coming out of the anus is called hematochezia. The color of blood in the stool may vary depending on the location of bleeding, the amount of bleeding and the bleeding rate. Gastric and esophageal bleeding is processed by gastric juice and stays in the stomach for a long time. The iron in hemoglobin combines with sulfate in the intestine to form iron sulfide, so it manifests as tarry stools. Colon and sigmoid colon bleeding do not have the above factors, so red stools are often seen. Swallowing blood from the mouth, nose, and bronchi can also cause blood in the stool.

Blood in the stool can be caused by colon disease, with most bleeding occurring in the sigmoid colon and rectum. In terms of disease characteristics, tumors, inflammation, deformities, etc. can all cause blood in the stool. The brighter the red the blood, the closer the bleeding location is to the anus.

If the stool is bloody and the color is bright red, it is a relatively good condition. Fresh blood in the stool is often caused by subacute (immediate) bleeding. The blood is discharged from the blood vessels and then discharged through the anus with excrement in a very short time, or immediately after defecation. The discharged blood looks similar to wound bleeding, with a bright red, purple or dark red color, and can coagulate into blood clots after a while. The most common causes of bright red blood in the stool and no pain in the anus are the following:

(1) Hemorrhoids of all ages, both internal and external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids can cause bleeding in the stool. Generally, the excrement is accompanied by blood or blood drips after defecation, and the blood does not mix with the excrement. External hemorrhoids generally do not cause bleeding in the stool.

Internal hemorrhoids: The characteristic is that the blood in the stool is bright red and appears in drips or gushes. Bleeding during or after defecation is caused by hard feces abrading the mucous membrane, or excessive force during defecation, which increases the pressure in the blood vessels and causes varicose veins to rupture and cause bleeding.

(2) Intestinal polyps cause painless stool bleeding. Bleeding occurs during bowel movements and stops after bowel movements. The amount of blood varies. Generally, the blood does not mix with feces. If the cysts are located high and the number is large, they may also mix with feces.

(3) Long-term rectal mucosal prolapse may cause bleeding during bowel movements.

Long-term blood in the stool can cause anemia. When the anemia is severe or progresses rapidly, symptoms such as pale complexion, fatigue, and poor appetite will appear.

Bright red blood is a warning sign of some anorectal diseases, in which the appearance of blood in the stool is not painful and generally does not cause serious harm. However, if it is not treated and blood in the stool persists for a long time, it can easily lead to anemia. Therefore, if blood in the stool occurs, go to the hospital for emergency treatment immediately.
