How many days does it take for my first period to go away?

Every woman has her period every month, and each person's menstrual cycle is different depending on their physical condition. Therefore, the number of days of menstruation for most people is different. Some people's menstrual period can only be one or two days, while others' menstrual period can last up to a week. Many women don't know how many days of their menstrual period are considered normal, and what are the factors that affect the length of their menstrual period? We should have a certain understanding of some basic knowledge about menstruation so that we can better take care of our bodies.

The first menstrual period is called the first menstruation. The age of menarche is mostly between 13 and 15 years old, but it may be as early as 11 to 12 years old, or as late as 17 to 18 years old. The age of menarche in different regions of my country is not very different, but those who are weak or malnourished may have their first menstruation later, while those who are physically strong and have good nutrition may have their first menstruation earlier. The menstrual period stops automatically at around the age of 49, which lasts for about 35 years.

For most girls, their first period will be over in 3-7 days, but because the ovaries are not yet fully developed, some will have a relatively long menstrual period, but clinically it will not exceed 9 days. If it exceeds 9 days, it is considered an abnormal situation. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible, mainly to rule out the problem of incomplete uterine development.

In this case, if the menstrual period is prolonged, oral hemostatic drugs can be used for symptomatic treatment. For example, Anluoxue or tranexamic acid can be taken internally. Generally, the menstrual period will be over after taking it for about 2-3 days. It is also recommended that you drink brown sugar and red dates water after the menstrual period to replenish blood and energy, which may shorten the next menstrual period. It is also recommended that girls must get good hygiene guidance from their relatives after their period to avoid infection.

The first day of bleeding (i.e. menstruation) is called the beginning of the menstrual cycle, and the time interval between the first days of two menstrual periods is called a menstrual cycle, which is generally 28 to 30 days, which is similar to the time of a lunar month. The length of the cycle varies from person to person. Occasionally, it can be early or late by no more than 7 days and can still be considered normal. That is, the menstrual cycle cannot be less than 21 days and cannot exceed 35 days. Menstruation will stop during pregnancy and lactation.

How many days does a woman's menstrual period usually last? The menstrual period refers to the duration of menstruation. Normal menstruation lasts 2 to 7 days, usually 4 to 5 days. Menstrual volume refers to the blood discharged during the menstrual period. It is difficult to make statistical analysis on the amount of menstrual flow. In clinical medicine, it is common to roughly estimate the amount by changing menstrual pads several times a day. Many people have measured that the average amount of menstrual blood is about 10 to 58 ml, and some women's menstrual blood volume can exceed 100 ml. Many people believe that excessive blood loss of more than 800 mg/month is a pathological condition. Generally, the heaviest bleeding occurs on the 2nd to 3rd day of the menstrual period. Due to differences in one's physical condition, age, climate, region and living conditions, the amount of menstruation sometimes fluctuates slightly, which is all normal physiological aspects.
