What happens when you start to get pregnant?

Many women will experience some early pregnancy symptoms shortly after they become pregnant. These are all normal phenomena during pregnancy and will generally disappear as the months go by. What pregnant women need to do at this time is to adapt to these physiological needs and ensure the healthy physical and mental growth and development of the fetus. However, some women do not deal with it in time during pregnancy, so it is very necessary to understand the relevant symptoms at the beginning of pregnancy. So, what are the symptoms of early pregnancy?

1. Termination of menstruation

For women with normal menstruation, if the menstruation is delayed for more than 10 days or more, it is very likely that they are pregnant. Amenorrhea is the first and most important signal of early pregnancy, so you should use a pregnancy test stick to test after your period is delayed. If the test shows pregnancy, you need to see a doctor for examination; if the test shows no pregnancy but you are still in amenorrhea, it is best to go to the hospital to check what the cause is.

2. Nausea and vomiting

When the pregnancy reaches 4 weeks, pregnant women will experience nausea and vomiting after getting up in the morning. This is also a significant symptom in early pregnancy. Moreover, many pregnant women will have picky eating and anorexia at this time, so pregnant women should eat light dishes at this time, which can alleviate the symptoms.

3. Early pregnancy reaction

Many pregnant women will have picky eating habits, anorexia, nausea and vomiting after pregnancy. Sometimes they like sour food, and sometimes they don’t want to eat the food they have eaten once a second time. This condition usually occurs a week or half a month after the menstrual cycle is delayed. Some women may also experience dizziness, fatigue, and sleepiness, but the degree of response varies from person to person, and most of them will disappear on their own after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

4. Fatigue

When the pregnancy reaches about one month, many pregnant women will feel tired and sleepy when doing some housework. Some pregnant women will also experience dizziness and headaches at this time. Therefore, pregnant women at this time must have a good work and rest schedule, which can alleviate fatigue symptoms.

5. Frequent urination and urgency

It is normal for women to urinate more frequently after pregnancy, even once an hour. After having these symptoms, it is basically certain that you are pregnant. At this time, you should see a doctor for examination to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy as soon as possible.
