Don't be afraid of brown discharge at 12 weeks of pregnancy

There is a saying in folk customs that it is not appropriate to tell others when planning to get pregnant for three months, because planning to get pregnant for three months is relatively risky and can easily lead to miscarriage, fetal growth retardation and other situations. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, which may be caused by changes in female hormones in the pregnant woman's body, emotional influence, external radiation, damage, or incomplete development of the test tube embryo itself. If you find brown discharge around the 12th week of pregnancy, don't worry too much. Find the cause and treat it symptomatically. Why does brown discharge occur?

It is a small amount of menstrual period. We all know that women will not have their periods during pregnancy, but some women will still have vaginal bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy, of course in small amounts, and after the bleeding comes out, it will turn into dark brown secretions, which is a normal phenomenon, but it rarely occurs.

It may be caused by physical exercise or sexual intercourse. The cervix of some women is more sensitive. If they are overworked during pregnancy, or after exercising or having sex, their cervix may rupture and brown discharge may occur.

Ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is caused by the test tube embryo not entering the uterus, but only implanting in the bilateral fallopian tubes, resulting in bleeding and abdominal pain. In clinical medicine, ectopic pregnancy is an important factor causing brown discharge in the vagina, so it must be taken seriously. If it is serious, it will cause internal bleeding.

Caused by gynecological inflammation infection. After a woman becomes pregnant, the body's resistance will be reduced to a certain extent. If bacteria invade the vagina at this time, it will cause urinary tract infection and cause vaginal bleeding. If the mother has uncomfortable symptoms such as vaginal itching, accompanied by brown discharge, she must go to a regular hospital for treatment and recuperation.

It is quite common to have brown discharge during pregnancy, and there are many reasons for it. It can be alleviated if you take good care of yourself after figuring out the cause. In addition, if it is a threatened miscarriage or a reflex impact, there may also be brown discharge. If a pregnant woman has severe abdominal pain or heavy bleeding, she must seek medical attention immediately to avoid delaying the treatment and causing irreversible adverse effects.
