What if my period comes 3 days early?

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, menstruation is caused by "Tiangui". In ancient times, there was a saying that "women's menstruation starts at the age of 27 and stops at the age of 49". This means that when a woman reaches around the age of 14, she will have her first menstruation, and when she reaches around 49 years old, she will stop menstruating. This is a natural physiological process. To put it simply, "Tiangui" is a complicated definition. According to traditional Chinese medicine, Tiangui is produced by natural kidney essence, which enables men and women to have reproductive ability and promotes the development of the body. In fact, this is similar to what growth hormone refers to in contemporary Western medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that menstruation is a weather phenomenon in the process of female growth.

It is in accordance with the natural way that menstruation should come when it is supposed to come and go when it is supposed to go. Irregular menstruation, always unexpected and untimely menstruation, etc., destroy the balance of the human body and are a pathological condition. In the basic theory of TCM gynecology, the main causes of irregular menstruation are exogenous wind-cold and six evils, internal injuries of seven emotions, injuries caused by food, clothing, housing and transportation, and physical fitness factors. It is normal for menstruation to be advanced or delayed by 7 days, so there is no need to worry. You can observe whether the amount and color of menstruation are normal. If they are normal, there is no need to worry.

Generally speaking, women's menstrual cycle is mostly 28 to 30 days, and the normal range is 25 to 35 days. There are many reasons for irregular menstruation, such as: endocrine imbalance, uterine disease, gynecological inflammation, mood swings, drug effects, changes in the natural environment, overwork and excessive psychological stress. The menstrual period is mostly 3 to 5 days, and the normal range is 2 to 7 days.
