The simplest method of pregnancy test

Pregnancy test is one of the most critical issues for women regarding pregnancy. How do you know if you are pregnant? There are various methods to test for pregnancy. But the key basic principles are relatively similar. Once pregnancy is successful, the combination of sperm and egg will continue to cause cell division and secrete a hormone called hCG (human chorionic growth hormone). When hCG hormone enters the pregnant mother's blood, it will be excreted in the urine through the pregnant mother's kidney function.

Ovulation temperature measurement

It is the most effective way. Measure your body temperature in bed after waking up every morning. The body temperature at this time is called ovulation temperature. Generally, the human body temperature is below 36.5 degrees before ovulation. During ovulation, estrogen rises and acts on the human body temperature nerve center, raising the body temperature by 0.3-0.5 degrees. If the egg cannot be fertilized, the estrogen level will decrease after about a week and the body temperature will return to normal. If pregnancy has already occurred, the estrogen level will remain high and the body temperature will also remain high. If the high temperature curve of ovulation temperature lasts for more than 18 days, it can generally be confirmed that it is early pregnancy. In addition, it should be noted that X-rays cannot be used to diagnose early pregnancy. Because only after 18-20 weeks of pregnancy, the dark shadow of the fetus's bones can be seen on X-rays, and X-rays in the early stages of pregnancy can harm the fetus.

Home pregnancy test kit

Home pregnancy tests only require urine to be placed on a pregnancy test stick containing a compound or the pregnancy test stick is placed in the urine. This method mainly detects a pregnancy hormone called human genital gonadal hormone (hCG). This type of growth hormone is metabolized by the fetus during pregnancy. In addition, this type of hormone is very important for some pregnancy symptoms, such as breast swelling and nausea. Generally, the level of human sex hormone can be detected in the urine ten days after pregnancy.

Blood tests

Blood tests are rarely used because they are expensive and urine tests can usually provide results. Blood tests are usually chosen under special circumstances, such as women with fertility problems or when a problem is suspected. Blood tests are more sensitive than urine tests, but the sooner the test is done, the more accurate the results will be, usually 7-12 days after conception.
