30 days after delivery, there is fresh blood but not much

After giving birth, women will be very weak and will suffer a great degree of damage. They will also have lochia discharge after giving birth, but the body will slowly recover after the confinement period. However, some women have a small amount of bright red blood in their vagina 30 days after giving birth. What is going on? Do they need to go to the hospital for treatment?

What if there is fresh blood but not much 30 days after delivery?

If the delivery is normal, there will be no fetal membrane remaining during delivery, and the lochia will be clear within one month after delivery. Menstruation may resume one month after delivery. If the lochia has not been cleared, or there is clear residual fetal membrane after delivery, then the bleeding is late postpartum hemorrhage. If the amount of bleeding exceeds the menstrual volume, you must go to the hospital immediately for hemostatic treatment.

What are the postpartum care items?

1. Choose a suitable environment for postpartum recuperation: choose a room with good sunlight and sitting direction, focus on comfort and insulation, pay attention to ventilation, set the room temperature at around 25-28℃, and keep the humidity between 30%-60%. And pay attention to keeping the room clean.

2. Pay attention to nutrition: Mothers need more nutrition to make up for the consumption during delivery and breastfeeding. In the first one or two days after delivery, you should eat light and easily digestible food. In the future, your diet should be nutritious and you should not be too full or too hungry. Eat more foods rich in vitamins C, D and B vitamins, increase the proportion of vegetarian food in your diet, and avoid low back pain caused by osteoporosis.

3. Reasonable rest and exercise: The mother will be very tired right after giving birth. Therefore, she should mainly rest in bed in the first two days. After that, she can get out of bed and exercise appropriately. The range and time of activities should be gradually increased.

Mothers need more rest after giving birth and take good care of themselves. You must pay more attention, get more rest and replenish your nutrition. Moreover, after the postpartum period, you should go to the hospital for a detailed examination to ensure that the internal structure of the body has recovered normally. If there are any abnormalities in the examination, you must seek diagnosis and treatment in time so that you can recover your health faster.
