2. White blood cells play a role in eliminating pathogens and protecting health in the body. The normal value is 4-10*109/L. Exceeding this range indicates the possibility of viral infection, but it can be slightly increased during pregnancy.

There are several types of white blood cells:

(1) Neutrophil count: normal is 0.5-0.7. The reasons for increase or decrease are the same as those for white blood cell count;

(2) Lymphocytes: Normally, the number is 0.2-0.4. When the number increases, it indicates that the expectant mother may have neutropenia, tuberculosis, whooping cough, etc. However, a decrease is not a good sign either, indicating an increase in neutrophils;

The definition of high white blood cell count should be observed together with neutrophils. There is no absolute value for simple white blood cell deviation. 3. Platelets play an important role in the hemostasis process. The normal value is 100-300*1012/L.
