Postpartum eye disease

There are many types of postpartum diseases, which are caused by mothers not taking good care of their bodies during the confinement period, exposing themselves to colds or other adverse effects. After the occurrence of these diseases, female friends should choose appropriate treatment methods according to their own conditions. Most female friends may suffer from eye damage, so they need to pay attention to the time they use their eyes every day.

1. During the confinement period, women's muscles, bones and pores are wide open, their qi and blood are weak, and they are empty inside and out. They are easily invaded by wind, cold and dampness. Clinically, it is common to feel cold and wind all over the body, sweat, and have joint pain. The pain is aggravated by cold and wind. They like to wear more clothes. Severe patients even wear cotton clothes in hot weather. According to Chinese medicine theory, "cold evil enters the bones."

2. Depression can easily cause liver qi stagnation, leading to poor blood circulation. Stagnant qi and blood can easily lead to loss of nutrition, and wind evil can invade accidentally. The clinical symptoms are: fear of cold, fear of wind, joint pain, and also accompanied by numbness, convulsions, swelling and pain, etc.

3. If women have too much sexual intercourse during the confinement period, it may damage their yin and essence. The deficiency of both yin and essence will lead to weakness of tendons and bones, allowing wind evil to invade. Its clinical symptoms are: in addition to fear of cold and wind, joint pain, the main symptoms are heaviness, weakness, back pain, sleepiness, pain, and fatigue intolerance. Some patients also have rheumatic and rheumatoid symptoms.

Moderate labor and rest are very helpful for the discharge of lochia and the recovery of muscles, bones and body shape. In the early days after delivery, when the mother feels weak, dizzy, and fatigued, she must rest in bed more. The time she gets up should not exceed half an hour. When her physical strength gradually recovers, the time can be extended a little, but the time is still limited to 1 to 2 hours to avoid standing or sitting for a long time, which will cause low back pain, leg pain, knee and ankle pain.

1. Clothes should be loose

Some young mothers are afraid of gaining weight after giving birth, so they choose tights and jeans to tighten their waists and abdomens. In fact, this is not conducive to blood circulation. During the postpartum confinement period, you should wear loose clothes so that you can move freely. For breastfeeding women, make two cotton nursing shirts with "pockets" on the chest. This is not only convenient for breastfeeding but also looks elegant.

2. Clothes should be soft and comfortable

It is better to choose clothes for postpartum women that are made of pure natural materials, such as cotton, wool, silk, etc., because such clothes are breathable, warm, and will not cause any harm to the body. It is appropriate to wear cotton fabrics with strong water absorption in underwear, so as to better protect the mother during the confinement period.

3. Pay attention to the cleanliness of clothing

The metabolism of postpartum women is vigorous, and milk often overflows and stains clothes, so you must pay attention to the cleanliness of clothes. They should be changed, washed and dried frequently. Otherwise, it is easy to cause bacterial infection and endanger the health of mother and baby.

4. Wear warm and appropriate clothes

The clothes of the mother should change according to the season and temperature. It is not advisable to wear long sleeves and long pants in summer, and there is no need to cover the head. If you go out in winter, you can cover your head appropriately and make sure you wear warm and comfortable clothes. [2]
