Right ovarian polycystic

Right ovarian polycystic

Women have two ovaries and two fallopian tubes in their bodies. The ovaries are mainly used to discharge eggs, while the fallopian tubes are mainly used to help women transport eggs to their uterus. If a woman has polycystic ovaries, it can still be treated, because polycystic ovaries are the main cause of female infertility and will have a serious impact on women's future conception. So what should I do if the right ovary is polycystic?

Polycystic changes in the right ovary refer to a morphological abnormality of the ovary found during a B-ultrasound examination. This abnormal ovary may indicate polycystic ovary syndrome, which is one of the main causes of female infertility.

Patients with this disease will have increased androgen secretion, infrequent menstruation or induced amenorrhea. Polycystic changes in the right ovary refer to multiple cystic changes in the ovary observed under the gynecological B-ultrasound probe. When such words appear, it means that the ovary has serious health problems, usually indicating polycystic ovary syndrome. This disease is more common in women of childbearing age between 25 and 35 years old, and is more common in young women. The disease can be preliminarily diagnosed through hormone secretion tests and B-ultrasound examinations.

Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome often have excessive secretion of androgen levels and increased prolactin levels. Ultrasound examination can also reveal that the patient's ovaries are significantly larger than those of normal women, and a large number of small follicles appear on the surface. Women often show induced amenorrhea and even the appearance of male secondary sexual characteristics. The above introduces the changes in right ovarian polycystic.

What to do if the right ovary has polycystic changes

Treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome is divided into drug therapy and surgical treatment

1. Surgical treatment is the earliest and most effective method for treating polycystic changes of the right ovary. However, surgery requires the removal of part of the ovarian tissue, which will have a certain impact on women's menstruation and fertility, and the success rate is also different. Therefore, caution should be used when choosing this method. If the symptoms are not particularly severe, surgical treatment is usually not required. If the symptoms are particularly severe, surgical treatment must be performed, otherwise it will cause greater harm.

2. In fact, oral antibiotics are the most commonly used drugs for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. This has become a long-term treatment method, mainly to protect the endometrium and adjust the endometrial cycle to protect yourself. There is also a treatment method that uses glucocorticoids, which treats the disease by treating adrenal hormones, but this method is only suitable for short-term use, and long-term use will have many side effects.
