How to regulate menopause

When women enter menopause, their bodies change and their moods fluctuate. Especially during menopause, women's physiological age has entered middle age. If there are some changes in family and career, it will aggravate menopausal symptoms. So, how to regulate menopause? First of all, women should not be afraid of menopause. If they make more preparations before entering menopause, they can go through menopause more smoothly.

Eat more vegetables and whole grains

Many fiber-rich vegetables, such as bean sprouts, radishes, taro, seaweed, leafy vegetables, potatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, etc., help the secretion of digestive juice, increase gastrointestinal motility, and promote the excretion of cholesterol. In addition, onions and garlic have good lipid-lowering and digestive benefits. Fungus and shiitake mushrooms can replenish qi and strengthen the body, and aid digestion. And you should eat more foods rich in thiamine and niacin, such as whole grains, brown rice and legumes. Thiamine has a certain sedative effect, and niacin can dilate blood vessels, which is beneficial for lowering blood pressure.

Increase calcium and iron intake

The estrogen level in menopausal women decreases, and the anabolism of bone tissue decreases, making them more susceptible to osteoporosis and increasing the incidence of fractures. In addition, women who consume 1,000 mg of calcium per day can reduce diastolic blood pressure by about 6%. Calcium can also maintain the excitability of nerves and muscles. Therefore, menopausal women should regularly eat foods high in calcium, with a daily calcium supply of no less than 1000 mg. Honey contains more than 10 trace elements and 108 mg of calcium in every 100 grams of honey, which can effectively prevent female convulsions. You can take 2-3 cups of warm milk every day, and add 20-30 grams of dark honey each time. The honey can refer to the jujube flower honey.

Eat more fish, shrimp and beans

Protein is related to the construction and repair of our body tissues and the maintenance of immune function. But please note that terrestrial animal meat usually contains a lot of saturated fat, which will make you gain weight. Therefore, it is recommended to reduce terrestrial animal meat food and use low-fat dairy products, beans, fish and shrimp as the main sources of protein.
