How to induce lactation on your own

Only babies who drink breast milk can be healthier and have stronger immunity than other babies who drink milk powder, so babies need breast milk to provide nutrition for their growth after birth. However, many mothers have no milk after giving birth, which results in the baby being unable to drink milk. Therefore, mothers need to learn how to stimulate lactation on their own, such as by performing lactation massage on their breasts. Let's take a look at how to induce lactation by yourself.

The most direct way to stimulate milk production is to let the baby suck the breast continuously. This is because the baby's constant sucking of the nipple can promote the mother's pituitary gland to secrete more prolactin, and the milk will naturally increase.

But at the same time, the mother also needs to: 1. Use a hot towel for hot compress, and you can massage during the hot compress, adjust your sitting posture, hold one breast with both hands and squeeze from the bottom of the breast to the nipple, and massage to stimulate milk secretion. 2. You can use a manual breast pump. Using a breast pump can create a vacuum space, which promotes stable milk secretion. 3. To supplement nutrition, drink more crucian carp soup, pork ribs soup, etc. 4. Maintain a happy mood. Mothers will experience great emotional fluctuations after giving birth. This is because physiological factors and the pain of childbirth cause temporary depression, which may lead to insufficient milk. Therefore, keeping a happy mood is also a good way to promote milk secretion.

New mothers often become anxious due to insufficient breast milk. Because some drugs and foods can affect the secretion of breast milk, lactation induction means that when breast milk cannot meet the needs of children, professionals use scientific methods to stimulate the secretion of breast milk.

Currently, the main methods of inducing lactation are through traditional Chinese medicine, massage and lactation-inducing soup. Massage and lactation therapy can promote local capillary dilation, increase vascular permeability, accelerate blood flow, improve local blood circulation, and facilitate the secretion and discharge of milk.
