What are the effects of urine tests during menstruation?

Try not to have urine tests during women's menstrual period, as some data from urine tests may be inaccurate. Urine during menstruation is very easy to mix with menstrual blood, which has a great impact on the urine red blood cells or urine protein positive data. Therefore, try not to do urine tests during your menstrual period. Accurate data will only be available three or four days after your menstrual period has completely passed.

1. The values of urine test generally include the bacterial content in urine and the epithelial cell content in urine. Both of these contents can infer the cleanliness of urine, or whether the human body has inflammation. During menstruation, the bacterial content in urine will exceed the standard, so the test at this time is not very valuable for reference. There is no way to reflect the detection of our normal numerical values, so it is meaningless.

2. When women are menstruating, the menstrual blood will carry some bacteria. Therefore, if a urine test is done during menstruation, it will usually be found that not only the color of the urine will change, but the bacterial content will also seriously exceed the standard. This is because the menstrual blood carries some bacteria and cannot reflect the normal urine test values.

3. The number of items in a routine urine test can be more or less, ranging from a dozen to four or five. However, the value of each item is related to the bacterial content. Therefore, when choosing a physical examination, it is better to choose a non-menstrual period when the urine test can relatively reflect the female urinary tract environment.

In fact, under normal circumstances, if you are menstruating, many physical examination items cannot be completed, such as breast B-ultrasound examination. This is because breast B-ultrasound examination needs to detect the normal condition of female breasts, but when you are menstruating, the breasts will swell and even breast hyperplasia may occur. Therefore, when you are menstruating, routine urine tests, breast B-ultrasound tests and routine leucorrhea tests cannot be completed. The only tests that can be done during menstruation are B-ultrasound of liver and kidney function and gallbladder, liver and internal organs. Most of the tests are impossible to do.
