What's wrong with the pimple on the cleavage?

Many female friends do not pay attention to breast hygiene, which will lead to symptoms such as pimples in the cleavage. This is mainly caused by folliculitis and other conditions on the skin. We need to pay attention to skin hygiene and clean the oil secreted by the skin to alleviate the problem of pimples in the cleavage. There are many reasons for pimples on the cleavage. You can learn about the reasons introduced below.

What causes chest acne?

The main reason for chest acne is folliculitis, embolism caused by excessive skin keratinization, and chronic inflammation of the sebaceous glands caused by sebum excretion disorders. This is related to the excessive oil secretion of the hair follicles on the chest. The debris produced during oil secretion clogs the pores, and it is also related to the hygiene of bed sheets and bedding.

1. Cuticle blockage

The stratum corneum is composed of 5-10 layers of dead flat keratinocytes and is the product of the continuous death and regeneration of epidermal cells. Most people don't exfoliate their chest skin, so the stratum corneum on the chest becomes thicker and thicker, clogging the pores, causing inflammation of the hair follicles and the growth of acne.

2. Endocrine disorders

The endocrine system is an important component for regulating human functions and maintaining a relatively stable internal environment. Failure to pay attention to diet control, eating too much spicy and irritating food, and irregular work and rest schedules will cause dampness and heat in the spleen and stomach, endocrine disorders, abnormal keratinization of the hair follicles and sebaceous ducts, hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands, and the appearance of acne.

3. Sweating a lot in summer

Summer is the peak season for chest acne, because the chest will sweat a lot in the hot summer, and the clothes will be wet with sweat. If the sweaty clothes are not washed in time and stick to the skin for a long time, it will easily breed bacteria, causing the skin to be infected, providing a breeding ground for acne.

4. Excessive sebum secretion

The occurrence of acne is closely related to poor sebum secretion. The chest, like the face, has relatively developed sebaceous glands. The sebaceous gland is an important gland attached to the skin that secretes sebum, which enters the hair follicles through the ducts and is then discharged to the skin surface through the pores. Excessive sebum secretion will clog the pores and cause acne.

How to get rid of chest acne?

1. Keep bed sheets, quilts and underwear clean. Because the chest and back are most directly in contact with these things.

2. Eat a light diet, avoid spicy foods, and do not drink alcohol or smoke. In terms of diet, we should pay attention to "four less and one more", that is, eat less spicy food, less greasy food, less sweets, and less "hairy food", and eat more foods rich in vitamins A/C/F and fiber.

3. Don’t wear any jewelry on your chest when you have acne, so as to avoid anything on the jewelry rubbing against your skin again and worsening the folliculitis.

4. If you are in a state of anxiety or stress for a long time, the body's adrenal progesterone will increase. Abundant adrenal progesterone can promote the normal growth of hormones and stimulate oil secretion. So relax and stay happy.

5. For oily skin with active sebum secretion, avoid excessive cleansing. After cleansing, pay attention to proper hydration to maintain the water and oil balance.

6. Try not to touch acne with your hands, as this can easily irritate the skin. Try to avoid using too many skin care products.

7. Develop good living habits, exercise moderately, maintain a regular schedule, and get enough sleep.

8. Quilts, sheets, pillows, face towels, etc. should always be kept clean. Sunlight exposure is the best disinfection, and ultraviolet rays have the effect of killing bacteria.

9. People who are prone to acne should pay attention to the medicinal ingredients when using medications. Girls who are used to taking oral contraceptives should use physical contraceptive methods instead, such as: using condoms, drug films, etc.

10. Improper use of skin care products and changing seasons. Try to choose skin care products with safe ingredients, make timely adjustments according to skin changes, and do not try new skin care products easily during the change of seasons. If you have sensitive, acne-prone skin, please do a skin test before using new skin care products.

11. Strengthen makeup removal and cleansing. If you wear makeup, you must use a combination of cleansing cream + facial cleanser to thoroughly cleanse.

12. Exfoliate once a week to keep the sebaceous glands unobstructed.
