7 weeks pregnant, no more breast pain

A woman's body undergoes significant changes after pregnancy. Especially in the early stages of pregnancy, pregnancy reactions are just beginning, including nausea, fatigue, confusion, and vomiting. Breasts often undergo some changes, so these are all normal. The seventh week of pregnancy is in the early stages of pregnancy, so at this time the pregnant woman's body reacts to a state of tension. But is it normal to not have breast pain at 7 weeks of pregnancy?

Is it normal to not have breast pain at 7 weeks of pregnancy?

It is normal to no longer have breast tenderness at 7 weeks of pregnancy.

Due to endocrine changes in the early stages of pregnancy, the breasts of pregnant women will become soft and feel swollen and painful. This is a normal phenomenon during pregnancy and generally lasts for about one to three months. However, after some pregnant women's bodies adapt to large amounts of hormones, the pain will subside and the breasts will no longer feel uncomfortable. As long as the pregnant woman finds that the fetus is normal, she does not need to worry.

What to do if your breasts swell and hurt during your 7th week of pregnancy

It is normal for breasts not to be swollen and painful at 7 weeks of pregnancy, but some pregnant women still have persistent breast pain, which may last until after 12 weeks of pregnancy. You can relieve the pain by changing to a suitable bra, massaging the breasts, etc.

1. Change to a suitable bra

Pregnant women with breast pain should choose bras with a soft texture and no seams near the nipples, preferably cotton, and without hard steel supports. After pregnancy, the breasts of pregnant women will increase. When buying a bra, you should consider choosing a wider size. It is best if the bra buckles can be fastened to the tightest row of buckles.

2. Breast massage

Breast massage

Pregnant women should use a warm towel to apply heat to the entire breast, place one hand horizontally on the other breast, and press the other hand on that hand. Overlap both hands and push the breast towards the center of the chest for massage; put the fingers of both hands together and place them diagonally below the breast, vibrate the entire breast from the base of the breast, and then use both hands to push the breast diagonally upward for massage; then lift the breast from the bottom and push the breast upward with both hands.

Note: When massaging, you must hold the entire breast with both hands, and the movement should be large. It is effective if you feel the breast lump disappearing from the pectoralis major muscle. However, it is strictly forbidden to knead randomly to avoid injuring the breast.

Hot massage

Use a clean towel dipped in warm water, wipe in a circular motion from the center of the nipple to the areola, apply hot compresses on both sides alternately, 15 minutes on each side, and massage in the following ways:

1. Circular massage: Place your hands on the upper and lower parts of the breast and massage the entire breast in a circular direction.

2. Spiral massage: Hold the breast with one hand, and use the index and middle fingers of the other hand to massage in a spiral shape towards the nipple.

3. Acupressure massage: Place your hands on both sides of the breasts and squeeze from the breasts to the nipples.

4. Horizontal massage: The purpose is to maintain good blood circulation in the breast. The basic method is to move the base of the breast, and there is no need to rub the bulging part (mammary gland).

How to care for your breasts during 7 weeks of pregnancy

1. Wash breasts with warm water

During pregnancy, pregnant women should frequently use warm water to clean and care for the breast skin, which can promote the development of the breast. When bathing, properly massaging the breasts can relieve breast swelling and pain. After washing, wipe the nipples carefully to ensure they are clean.

2. Sleeping reduces breast pressure

When sleeping, pregnant women can lie on their backs or sides to reduce pressure on their breasts.

3. Do not enlarge your breasts during pregnancy

Pregnant women with small breasts should never have breast augmentation during pregnancy, as breast augmentation at this time can easily lead to breast hypoplasia, which can then develop into agalactia or milk deterioration.

4. Don’t keep long nails

Pregnant women should not have long nails to avoid scratching the breast skin. You should not do manicures during pregnancy to avoid breast skin allergies caused by nails scratching the breasts.
