Can I take calcium tablets when I am pregnant?

Many pregnant women are very confused about whether they can take calcium tablets. In fact, when you are just pregnant, you should consume the nutrients in calcium tablets. This will allow the fetus in your belly to grow and develop more perfectly and allow the fetus in your belly to absorb better. However, you cannot consume too much. You can only consume a fixed dose every day.

Some pregnant mothers think that they have accomplished their mission right after giving birth and automatically stop "calcium supplementation". This is a very dangerous giving up. Because, although breast milk contains less calcium than milk and formula, it is easier for the baby to absorb. When a pregnant mother becomes a new mother, her body still needs to supplement a large amount of calcium to repay the "calcium debt" given to the baby, so a breastfeeding mother still needs to supplement twice as much calcium as usual.

In the past, some experts recommended that mothers bring some chocolate into the delivery room during childbirth, believing that chocolate can produce endorphins in the human body, which can make people excited and happy and have analgesic effects. It is recommended to bring some calcium tablets that can be absorbed without adding vitamin D. You can take them half an hour apart from chocolate, and the effect is also very good.

A fetus weighing 2800 to 3000 grams at birth has at least 40 grams of calcium in its bones. But babies cannot produce calcium in their bodies, they need it all from their mothers. Chinese adults should consume 800 mg of calcium every day. However, multiple national nutrition surveys have shown that the average calcium intake of Chinese people is less than half or more. In order to build the fetus's bones, the mother has to give almost all the calcium she eats to the fetus within 180 days.

If there is no additional calcium supplementation other than food, the calcium intake of the mother's body during pregnancy is zero. The Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents recommend that the appropriate calcium intake in mid-pregnancy is 1000 mg per day, and in late pregnancy it is 1200 mg per day. Excessive calcium intake is also not good for the body, so the income and expenditure can be balanced.

Studies have found that radiation generated by computers can affect the development of the fetus and can even cause severe fetal malformations. The dense metal mesh forms a safety "protective shield" around the body, which can effectively block and refract trace X-rays, ultraviolet rays, low-frequency radiation and microwave radiation to prevent harm to the human body and fetus. It is comfortable, dry, breathable, non-irritating, has no side effects, and is also antibacterial, antistatic, washable, and has long-lasting performance.
