38 weeks pregnant, some pain down there

As a woman's pregnancy progresses, her belly will also get bigger, and when she is about to give birth, some abnormal conditions will occur in her body. The 38th week of pregnancy is usually the ninth week of pregnancy. At this time, women must pay special attention to their travel, because the baby may come out of the belly if they are not careful. Therefore, when there are abnormal changes in your body, you must tell your family in time. So is it normal to have a little pain down there during the 38th week of pregnancy?

Why is there pain in the lower part of the 9th month of pregnancy?

Conceiving a new life requires a lot of physical and mental effort. As the uterus grows and the fetus enters the pelvis, it will compress the surrounding tissues and cause pain in the groin and sacrum. The symptoms will be alleviated or disappear after delivery. As the pregnancy progresses, the fetus may descend and cause compression of the pelvic cavity, leading to pubic symphysis pain or even vaginal congestion, which may cause pain.

What to eat when you are nine months pregnant

1. Three-shredded whitebait soup

Ingredients: appropriate amount of whitebait, 1 egg, 3 dried mushrooms, appropriate amount of salad oil, appropriate amount of starch, 3 green onions.

Method: Wash the whitebait, drain the water, add egg white and mix well. Soak the mushrooms and cut into shreds, cut the green onions into sections, and mix the cornstarch with cold water. Heat oil in a pan, quickly stir-fry the shredded mushrooms, then add water and boil. After the water in the pot boils, add the seasoned whitebait. Bring the soup to a boil again, add the seasoned cornstarch and stir quickly with chopsticks. Add scallions.

2. Fish Congee

Ingredients: appropriate amount of grass carp, rice, salad oil, salt, ginger, green onion, egg white, and pepper.

Method: Cut the fish into double slices. Mix the fish fillets with ginger, oil, salt, pepper and egg white and marinate for 20 minutes. Wash the rice and cook it into porridge, then put it into a casserole and boil it over high heat. Pour the fish fillets in and use the residual heat to cook them. Add salt to taste. Sprinkle with white pepper and chopped green onions.

Physiological changes

1. Changes in the mother's body: The abdomen is highly bulging, and the fundus of the uterus rises from 2 horizontal fingers below the chest to a little below the heart. The growing belly makes you feel anxious and breathless, and even bloating, loss of appetite, and more frequent urination. The increase in abdominal weight may cause waist and back pain.

2. Fetal development: Length 40-45 cm, weight 1700-2500 g. The brain is not fully developed but is already quite developed. He (she) can respond to external stimuli not only with whole body movements but also with facial expressions, showing emotions of like or dislike.

Precautions

1. Be sure to go to the hospital for regular prenatal check-ups as ordered by your doctor.

2. Be careful not to eat too much at one time, eat small meals frequently, and eat more vegetables rich in fiber.

3. Don’t use pregnancy as an excuse to indulge in eating and sleeping. Moderate exercise will help you have a smooth delivery.

4. Count the fetal movements and monitor the baby at home. If any abnormality is found, seek medical attention promptly.

5. Relieve pain in the lower back and waist through pregnancy gymnastics. You can massage your legs or elevate your feet before going to bed.

6. Sexual intercourse is prohibited because it may cause water breaking and premature birth.

7. The abdomen becomes larger and movements become difficult. Be sure not to fall and avoid strenuous exercise and excessive fatigue.

8. You may feel uneasy about childbirth and childrearing at this time. Remember to keep a natural, relaxed and happy mood.

9. Pay attention to any signs of premature birth, such as abdominal cramps or vaginal bleeding.

10. Prepare the necessary supplies for you and your unborn baby to go to the hospital for delivery, arrange your household affairs, and prepare for hospitalization.
