Symptoms of pubic lice

3. Blue-gray spots: 0.2 to 2 cm in size can be seen near the affected area. They are painless and itchy, do not fade when pressed, and can last for several months. These blue-gray spots can also be seen on the chest, abdomen, inner thigh, etc. The cause of these blue-gray spots is currently unclear, but it may be related to the saliva of pubic lice entering the blood during bites.

1. Itching in the genitals, especially at night, is usually not taken seriously in the early stages.

2. Red rashes, papules, blood scabs, and blue spots appear on the genitals; there are rust-colored powdery or granular lice feces on the underwear.

3. Rusty or reddish-brown oval eggs can be found at the roots of pubic hair.

4. If lice are found moving around in the pubic hair, it can be diagnosed as pubic lice.

Daily prevention of pubic lice

1. When traveling on business, do not use public towels, do not wear other people's underwear, and do not share bedding with others.

2. Avoid unclean sexual intercourse. Because the main transmission route of this disease is caused by unclean sexual intercourse.

3. Pay attention to hygiene and bathe frequently.

4. Check for the presence of other sexually transmitted diseases at the same time so that they can be treated at the same time.
