Is it okay to leave pelvic inflammatory disease untreated?

Everyone knows that pelvic inflammatory disease is a common inflammation in women. When it occurs, some people feel unbearable pain, but others say that it is only mild pain and will go away if you endure it. The condition is not serious and does not require treatment. Moreover, they think that going to the hospital is expensive and many families cannot afford it. If you really have pelvic inflammatory disease, is it okay not to treat it?

Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is a common gynecological disease in women. In addition to being related to hygiene, it is also related to pregnancy, miscarriage and other reasons. These reasons will lead to the invasion of cold evil, that is, pathogen infection, causing congestion of the uterine cavity and adhesion of the adnexa. If improper care is not done, it can lead to acute and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, hydrosalpinx, cysts, pelvic peritonitis, etc.

Many women with pelvic inflammatory disease are accompanied by pelvic effusion, which can be as low as 1.2 and as high as more than 5, or more. Some have severe ovarian cysts, which can develop into polycystic ovary in severe cases. There is frequent pain in the lower abdomen, pain when pressing the lower abdomen, scanty menstruation, and in severe cases, no menstruation for 3 months. Some people also have various problems such as pain when pressing the lower abdomen, heavy pain in the lower abdomen, scanty menstruation, etc.

Some female friends do not receive systematic treatment after becoming ill, resulting in long-term inflammation stimulating various tissues and organs in the pelvic cavity, causing local tissue hyperplasia and adhesions, and then forming an inflammatory mass; prolonged inflammation affects ovarian function and causes menstrual disorders; when the inflammation involves the fallopian tubes, it causes obstruction or blockage, which can cause infertility or even ectopic pregnancy.

It is possible that the female friend thought it was just an inflammation and that she could use some lotion and take some oral anti-inflammatory medicine and it shouldn't be a big deal. It is because of carelessness that pelvic inflammatory disease becomes more and more serious. Sometimes when I was driving, I felt severe pain in my lumbar region and thought it was lumbar muscle strain caused by work fatigue. Unexpectedly, it was actually a manifestation of worsening chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

In fact, pelvic inflammatory disease has many harmful effects, including ectopic pregnancy, septic shock, infertility and kidney disease. After suffering from pelvic inflammatory disease, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time and do not ignore the choice of treatment technology.
