Brown vaginal discharge at 11 weeks of pregnancy

Brown vaginal discharge at 11 weeks of pregnancy

We all know that when a woman is pregnant, her menstruation will stop, and the cessation of menstruation is also the main consideration for women to judge whether they are pregnant. Although menstruation will stop, there will still be leucorrhea. Normal female leucorrhea is white, and if a woman has some gynecological diseases, the leucorrhea may have an unusual color. So why do some women have brown leucorrhea when they are 11 weeks pregnant?

The presence of brown discharge at 11 weeks of pregnancy is considered to be an abnormal leucorrhea caused by inflammation. Pregnant women are very susceptible to inflammatory infections. It may also be due to unstable hormone levels in the body. This situation is generally not a big problem, but it may also cause endocrine disorders, leading to abnormal fetal development or miscarriage. You should go to the hospital in time for routine leucorrhea examination to prevent the possibility of vaginitis. If not treated in time, it may cause miscarriage or even infertility.

The reasons for brown discharge during the eleventh week of pregnancy are generally as follows:

1. Threatened abortion

The main symptoms are bleeding or brown leucorrhea in the early stages of pregnancy. In the stage of threatened abortion, vaginal bleeding is generally less and the abdominal pain is mild. If there is no abnormality in the fetal development, the bleeding will stop after pregnancy preservation treatment and the pregnancy can continue.

2. Ectopic pregnancy

That is, ectopic pregnancy. When an ectopic pregnancy occurs, vaginal bleeding usually occurs about 40 days after the menstruation stops, and is often accompanied by dull pain, bloating, and heaviness in the lower abdomen.

3. Hydatidiform mole

Pregnant women with hydatidiform mole experience bleeding later than miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, usually around 3 months.

4. The pregnant woman herself suffers from vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, endometrial lesions, tumors, etc.
