What to do if you have tooth decay pain during pregnancy

Tooth decay is a dental problem that many children will have, because most children like to eat sweets. If they do not brush their teeth in time and thoroughly, it will lead to tooth decay. Some mild tooth decay has no symptoms and will not feel pain, but the decrease in body resistance during pregnancy will cause tooth decay pain. Tooth decay pain will directly affect eating, thereby affecting the baby's health. So, what should I do if I have tooth decay pain during pregnancy?

Tooth decay is caused by unclean oral cavity, which causes food residues to ferment and produce acids, eroding the tooth enamel and forming cavities. It is recommended that you go to the oral department of the hospital for examination and take X-rays in time. If the teeth can be retained, root canal treatment can be performed. If it is not very serious, you can take some anti-inflammatory drugs for pain relief. Remember to brush your teeth before going to bed every day, rinse your mouth with salt water after meals, and pay attention to oral hygiene.

It is recommended that you take garlic and mash it, apply it to the painful area after warming it to treat symptoms such as pulpitis, periodontitis and toothache. You can also hold MSG solution in your mouth for a while and spit it out. Do this several times in a row. After two days, the toothache will slowly ease. You can take penicillin and cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs, which will not affect the fetus.

Life care:

1. When you have a toothache, you can cut a small piece of ginger and bite it on the painful area. You can reuse it when necessary, and it is also okay to hold it in your mouth when you sleep.

2. Apply honey to the area where you have toothache. It will be healed in a few minutes and will also make your mouth smell fragrant.

3. Use a toothpick to pick up a little Yunnan Baiyao and add a drop of boiling water to make it into a paste. Then dip the toothpick in the Yunnan Baiyao paste and apply it to the aching area. Generally, the pain will stop after 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Hold aloe vera in your mouth: Cut a small piece of aloe vera, peel off the skin, and hold the pulp containing sticky liquid in the painful area. It will relieve itself in 2 to 3 hours.

5. Ice compress: Just like treating bruises, applying ice to the cheek where the toothache occurs can relieve pain. Apply for 15 minutes each time, at least 3 to 4 times a day.

6. Crush 1 to 2 pills of Liushen Pills and place them on the gums of the affected teeth for 5 to 10 minutes, once a day, usually not more than 3 times.
