Gynecological inflammatory reactive cell changes

Gynecological inflammatory reactive cell changes

When female friends go to the hospital for cervical cancer screening, the gynecologist will perform a cervical cytology test on the patient, which is a fluid-based cytology test, commonly known as TCT. The cell morphology of the fallen cells can be used to determine whether the cells are normal or have atypical tumor cell changes. So, what do somatic changes reflecting gynecological inflammation mean?

The TCT report is to distinguish the state of the cervical leukocytes, which may be normal, inflamed, or abnormal. Therefore, if a female friend's TCT report shows an inflammatory cell reaction, it does not require treatment. It only shows that there are inflammatory changes in the cervix, and regular follow-up is a good change.

The inflammatory cell changes in women mainly refer to those caused by inflammation, and do not cause malignant changes. Therefore, we should maintain an optimistic attitude and avoid tension and anxiety. The common reflective somatic changes are mainly caused by gynecological inflammation, especially the occurrence of cervical inflammation. There are many reasons for reactive cell changes, such as childbirth, miscarriage or cervical injury caused by surgery, and viral infection can all cause inflammatory cell changes. Diagnosis can be made through secretion examination, bacterial culture, and drug sensitivity tests of bacteria. Therefore, it is important to do cervical screening once a year to eliminate malignant diseases and ensure early detection and early treatment.

TCT mild inflammatory phenomenon of cellular changes, mostly indicate the existence of cervicitis, because the cervix and vagina are closely connected in anatomy, so cervicitis is mostly caused by the spread of vaginitis. We can do a cleanliness test to find out whether there is an increase in the white blood cell count in female secretions, and whether there are pathogens such as Trichomonas and fungi. If not, it may simply be an inflammation of the cervix, which includes subacute and chronic. The inflammatory reaction generally presents with purulent secretions, cervical hematoma and other manifestations, which require active treatment. If it is inflammation, it may manifest as cervical hypertrophy, cysts, etc. This situation can be observed if TCT and HPV are normal.
