What are the symptoms of an ovarian rupture?

After the ovary ruptures, it will be very painful if you press lightly on the lower right abdomen. If there is too much bleeding, it may cause shock. Ovarian rupture may also cause symptoms such as low blood pressure and increased body temperature.

1. Patients with excessive bleeding may have symptoms of anemia and shock, decreased blood pressure, rapid pulse, and slightly elevated body temperature.

2. Abdominal examination: mild cases have mild tenderness in the lower abdomen. If it occurs on the right side, the tenderness point is located lower and inside of McBurney's point. Severe cases have obvious tenderness in the lower abdomen and rebound pain, but muscle rigidity is not obvious. If the ovarian corpus luteum ruptures, no mass can be palpated in the abdomen; if the original mass of the ovarian tumor disappears or only a mass smaller than before the onset of pain can be palpated, mobile dullness may be positive.

3. Gynecological examination revealed cervical tenderness and tenderness in the domes on both sides. The uterus is normal or slightly enlarged, and movement is painful. Ovarian chocolate cysts are tender nodules that can be felt in the rectouterine pouch, uterosacral ligament, or lower segment of the posterior wall of the uterus. Lumps can be felt in one or both sides of the uterine adnexa, which are cystic or cystic-solid. The lumps are immobile and often tender. If the lesion involves the rectovaginal septum, raised purple-blue spots, nodules or masses may be palpated or even seen in the posterior fornix of the vagina. If the ovarian tumor ruptures, examination may show that the original tumor has shrunk or disappeared.
