The fallopian tube is the channel for transporting sperm and eggs to the uterus. It must be unobstructed. If it is blocked, it will affect pregnancy. Some women experience not only blockage but also pain. What causes fallopian tube pain? The fallopian tubes are located in the female pelvic cavity, surrounded by reproductive organs such as uterine appendages, and are also prone to various gynecological inflammations. If pain occurs in the fallopian tubes, it may be an infection in the pelvic cavity or fallopian tubes, which must be treated promptly. Before and after menstruation, after childbirth or miscarriage, women may be easily infected by pathogens through damage to the birth canal and placental detachment surface, or the wound caused by endometrial exfoliation during menstruation. This can trigger acute salpingitis and cause fallopian tube pain. There are two possible causes of fallopian tube pain: (1) Chronic salpingitis: There are varying degrees of pain in the lower abdomen, and the pain in the fallopian tubes is mostly dull pain, such as soreness in the lumbar region and a feeling of falling. (2) Acute salpingitis: After the fallopian tubes are infected, the body temperature of patients with milder cases may not be very high, but those with severe cases may experience chills and high fever, with the body temperature reaching 39 to 40°C, and may even develop sepsis. It is accompanied by severe pain on both sides of the lower abdomen, increased leucorrhea or irregular vaginal bleeding, and occasionally a series of symptoms such as frequent urination and painful urination. The accurate judgment is mainly made based on the symptoms of the disease. Since female patients with this disease do not have any clinical symptoms, female infertility is the main problem. Some patients with hydrops of the fallopian tube fimbria have symptoms of chronic abdominal pain. And the pain in the lower abdomen is only felt when there is inflammation of the fallopian tubes. Some patients with fallopian tube obstruction will experience symptoms such as pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen, a feeling of heaviness, excessive secretions, and low back pain. The amount of blood increases during menstruation, but it is easy to confuse them with other diseases. |
