Why do I have stomachache when I wake up early? Or these reasons

Stomach pain in the morning is a symptom that many people experience. This symptom not only brings discomfort but also makes people extremely uneasy. They always worry whether it is a sign of disease. So what exactly is causing stomach pain in the morning?

1. Lack of sleep

High pressure from work and life, or staying up late, can lead to insufficient sleep and physical fatigue. When you wake up in the morning, you may experience stomach discomfort, stomach pain, bloating and other discomforts.

2. Slow blood circulation

If you feel stomach discomfort after waking up in the morning, it may be because your body maintains one posture while sleeping, resulting in poor blood circulation, slow metabolism, and insufficient qi and blood in the stomach.

3. Wrong sleeping posture

When sleeping, maintaining the same posture for a long time, such as curling up or other postures that put a certain amount of pressure on the stomach, can easily cause stomach pain for people with poor gastrointestinal function.

4. Excessive gastric acid secretion

After a night of sleep, gastric acid is still being secreted, but there is no food in the stomach to digest. This will increase the irritation of gastric acid to the gastric mucosa, causing stomach discomfort when you wake up in the morning.

5. Bad eating habits

Eating too much cold drinks or spicy food the day before may also cause stomach pain, bloating and other discomforts the next day; or overeating and eating difficult-to-digest food the night before may cause indigestion and stomach discomfort.

6. Suffering from stomach diseases

People who suffer from gastrointestinal diseases such as gastritis and gastric ulcers are prone to stomach discomfort when they wake up in the morning, and may even experience nausea, vomiting, and severe stomach pain.
