1. Irregular menstruation

1: Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of menstrual disorders is mainly based on changes in menstrual cycle and bleeding, combined with the color, texture and systemic symptoms of menstruation, and treatment is based on four aspects: cold, heat, deficiency and excess, with satisfactory results. The principles of regulating menstruation are to regulate qi and blood, nourish the kidney, support the spleen, soothe the liver, and regulate qi and blood. 2. Treating premature menstruation

1: 10 grams each of Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus membranaceus, and Atractylodes macrocephala, and 6 grams each of dried ginger and licorice. Grind them into fine powder, apply on the navel, cover with gauze and secure with adhesive tape. Change the dressing once a day until menstruation becomes normal. This prescription replenishes Qi and strengthens the spleen. It is suitable for patients with early menstruation due to Qi deficiency, heavy, light-colored, thin menstruation, limb fatigue, pale tongue, and weak pulse.

3. Treat leucorrhea

Vinegar-moxibustion cockscomb, 3 grams each of safflower fried with wine, lotus leaves, Atractylodes macrocephala, and Plantago seed. Grind them into fine powder and mix with rice wine or rice soup to form a paste. After washing the navel with warm water, apply the ointment to the navel, fix it regularly, and change the dressing every day.

4. Treating urinary obstruction during pregnancy

200 grams of plantain and 30 grams of talcum powder. Mash the plantain to extract the juice, mix it with talcum powder, apply it to the navel, cover it with a dressing, and change the dressing every day.

5. Treat late menstruation

15 grams each of frankincense, myrrh, white peony root, Achyranthes bidentata, Salvia miltiorrhiza, hawthorn, costusroot, and safflower. Grind them into fine powder, add 1 gram of borneol, mix well, and bottle for later use. When using, take 20 grams of the medicine powder, mix it into a paste with ginger juice or rice wine, apply it to the navel, cover it with plastic film and gauze, and fix it with adhesive tape. Change the dressing every other day and use it until the menstruation is over. One course of treatment is 3 months. It is mainly used to treat late menstruation caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis.

6. Treat dysmenorrhea

1: 9 grams each of cinnamon, fried fennel, dried ginger, Corydalis yanhusuo, Myrrh, Chuanxiong, Angelica sinensis, Niu Puhuang, and red peony root. Grind them into fine powder and bottle them for later use. Two days before each menstruation, take an appropriate amount of the powder and add vinegar to make a paste. After washing the navel with salt water, apply the paste, cover it with gauze, and secure it with adhesive tape. Change the dressing every other day. One course of treatment is 5 months.
