Causes of tubal ligation complications:

Although two theories exist, there is no definitive answer to this question. But no matter which theory it is, it is believed that the cause of these sequelae is related to the decrease in estrogen levels in the body. This may be caused by the ovaries being affected during the surgery.

Tubal ligation is not the safest method of contraception. It also has sequelae.
