What are the dangers of breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation is an attractive option for many female friends because you all believe that full breasts are more attractive to men and can give you confidence. Breast augmentation is harmful to your health, especially when the prosthesis is made, it will cause the breasts to be uneven or become hard. I hope you can pay attention to this.

1. The implant is too high, the two sides are uneven, or the shape is unnatural. This is the most common problem with traditional breast augmentation. If there is no improvement after one year, surgery is required.

2. Hardening This is a sign of "capsular contracture", with an incidence rate of 2% to 8%. It can be divided into four degrees according to the severity. If it is the first and second degree of capsular contracture, within 3 to 6 months after the operation, insist on massage, once in the morning and once in the evening, each time for about 20 to 30 minutes. The above can reduce the hardening of the breast caused by scar formation. If it develops into the third or even fourth degree, only surgical removal of the capsule can make the breast soft again, but it may still become hard in the future.

3. The incidence of prosthesis leakage is less than 1%, and surgery is required to replace the prosthesis.

4. The incidence of bacterial infection is 2%. In the early stages, antibiotics and lavage of the subpectoral cavity can be used to control the infection. Although this allows the prosthesis to be retained, the chance of capsular contracture in the future is extremely high. If the infection cannot be controlled, the prosthesis must be temporarily removed and redone after half a year.

5. The incidence of hematoma is 3%. Sometimes surgery is required to remove the blood clot, but the prosthesis can still be retained.

6. The worst case scenario is that when capsular contracture continues to occur and cannot be resolved after several surgeries, the prosthesis has to be removed. Even so, it is just a restoration to the appearance before the operation, which will not affect health, but it will inevitably cause psychological impact and increase additional financial expenses. Therefore, before breast augmentation surgery, you should choose a doctor carefully. Although no doctor can completely prevent it from happening, the possibility of failure can be minimized.

I believe that after reading this article about the dangers of breast augmentation, female friends should know that breast augmentation is not good for breast health. I hope female friends will not often use breast augmentation methods. In fact, female friends can choose food to enlarge their breasts instead of surgical methods.
