Cervical erosion will cause rotten flesh-like discharge

Cervical erosion is divided into first degree, second degree and third degree. First degree cervical erosion itself is not a disease but an abnormal reflection of the female cervix. However, when cervical erosion develops to the second degree, women must pay enough attention and take appropriate treatment measures as soon as possible to control the disease. So what is the rotten flesh that comes out when you apply medicine to cervical erosion?

What is the rotten flesh that comes out of cervical erosion when applying medicine randomly?

Cervical erosion should discharge rotten meat-like tissue. In clinical medicine, it is mainly because the applied drugs are corrosive, so the mucosa of the cervix becomes necrotic and falls off, and then the rotten meat-like tissue is discharged from the vagina. It is recommended to keep the area clean. Because cervical erosion is a normal physiological phenomenon in clinical medicine, it is mainly due to the abundant estrogen secretion in the bodies of women of childbearing age, which causes the displacement of cervical columnar epithelial cells, thus causing a similar erosion on the surface of the cervix. It is a normal physiological phenomenon, not a disease. Therefore, there is no need for clinical intervention or treatment for cervical erosion. Just keep the vulva clean, pay attention to sexual hygiene, and do a cervical cancer screening once a year. The key is to understand whether the cervix has epithelial cell disease.

How long does it take to cure the second degree cervical erosion?

First of all, there are many medicines that can treat cervical erosion, but they can generally be divided into oral medicines and topical medicines. Because topical medications have a relatively small effect on endocrine function, many patients with second-degree cervical erosion tend to use topical medications such as cervical suppositories for treatment. However, the permeability of topical medications for the treatment of second-degree cervical erosion is poor, so the treatment time is relatively longer, generally requiring more than one month. If oral medications are used to treat second-degree cervical erosion, the time will be relatively shorter, and the actual effect can usually be seen in 7 to 15 days.

Secondly, for some patients with second-degree cervical erosion, especially when cervical erosion has developed to the onset stage, the simple use of drugs for treatment is not ideal. At this time, patients need to consider the use of laser or minimally invasive surgery for comprehensive treatment. Since the laser uses the principle of infrared light sterilization, it can quickly eliminate bacteria in the inflamed cervix. There is also minimally invasive surgery to treat cervical erosion, which is to remove the eroded part immediately. This treatment speed is much faster than drug treatment. Therefore, patients with secondary cervical erosion can also consider laser or surgical treatment.
