What causes uterine cysts?

Many women will have some gynecological diseases in their daily lives. The more common ones are vaginal inflammation and cervical inflammation. Cervical cyst is also a common disease. Cervical cyst can also be called a function. There is a lump in the cervix and it needs to be treated in time. However, many people don’t know how such a disease as cervical cyst is formed? Let us find out.

Cervical cyst is a common gynecological disease, which is divided into cervical nabothian cyst and cervical glandular cyst. If the disease is not treated in time, it may turn into cancer. The spread of inflammation can also cause pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, endometritis, etc., and in severe cases even lead to infertility.

Due to the long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation, the cervical tissue repeatedly becomes congested and edematous, and inflammatory cells infiltrate and connective tissue proliferate, resulting in cervical hypertrophy. Under long-term inflammatory stimulation, a small number of patients with chronic cervicitis have a tendency to malignant transformation.

Causes of cervical cysts: 1. Chronic inflammatory stimulation. 2. Multiple gynecological surgeries. 3. Unclean sexual life. 4. Caused by cervical erosion.

The patient's cyst is located at the cervical opening. If not treated in time, the cervical cyst will gradually increase in size, thereby blocking the cervical opening and preventing sperm from entering the uterine cavity smoothly.

A large amount of secretions will be produced in the patient's body. The white blood cells in the secretions will engulf sperm, reducing the number of sperm, greatly reducing the number and vitality of sperm, making it impossible for the egg to combine normally with the sperm to form a fertilized egg, leading to infertility.

Long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation, repeated congestion and edema of cervical tissue, infiltration of inflammatory cells and hyperplasia of connective tissue can cause cervical hypertrophy, which can increase by more than 1 times compared with a normal cervix in severe cases.

Generally speaking, there are no particularly obvious symptoms of cervical cysts, but they should still be taken seriously during the treatment process. Drug treatment can play a certain control role. Generally, surgical treatment is not required, but you should go to the hospital for regular check-ups, otherwise it will affect women's reproductive function and lead to infertility.
